3 This is Proventia Proventia is an environmental technology company, providing technologies and services for engines. Today we develop, engineer and supply innovative, customized exhaust aftertreatment solutions for diesel engines in both OE and retrofit installations. We produce integrated insulation solutions for thermal management in demanding engine and machine applications. We offer a broad selection of testing services and transportable Proventia Test Units for engines, emissions, fuels and lubricants. 7 Clean Air from London to Hong Kong Emissions from diesel vehicles and machines especially particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides (NO x ) contribute greatly to local air quality. Older vehicles and machines generally pollute more than new ones; many cities and countries are tackling the problem by retrofitting older vehicles with efficient aftertreatment systems. Retrofitting is the fastest, most cost-effective way to improve air quality and reduce environmental, financial and health impacts direct and indirect in the short term. Back on track with Proventia retrofits For NO x reduction we have successfully used SCR technology in OE applications; the same technology has also proven to be efficient and reliable in retrofitting. With Proventia s most efficient retrofit system, NOxBUSTER DPF + SCR, emission upgrades up to EURO VI are possible. Systematic use of DPF + SCR aftertreatment systems allows older vehicles to operate in an environmentally friendly manner, meeting even the strictest emission requirements. 9 Comprehensive Engineering We provide engineering services in all emission-related issues: from emission strategy consulting to component and system development, from services for the right choice of components to testing, simulation and mechanical design. We can engineer our customers a complete exhaust aftertreatment solution, or we can take on a smaller project, for example engineering a system for a special application or just a single component. Multi-layered insulation technology protects temperature-sensitive components in the engine compartment by keeping the heat energy in the exhaust pipe line and improving the performance of the EAT system. Cost-effective and flexible? Of course! Proventia Thermal Components provide complete design freedom, with unlimited shapes and embossing variants. Integrated insulation is formed from thin stainless steel outer shells with layered heat-insulating material, making it extremely lightweight, yet very durable. The same insulation technology is naturally suitable for any components where high insulation efficiency is needed. Proventia Thermal Components are a costeffective solution with low manufacturing start-up costs, enabling quick and flexible serial production, from small to large series. We can provide our customers with a new sustainable, cost-effective, easier method of testing that does not require spending many hours in your own expensive test laboratory or building an additional in-house test cell. Proventia Test Unit is a transportable engine testing cell that can be used to test diesel engines and exhaust aftertreatment systems, component testing, fuels and lubricants. We offer complete testing services on contract with our Test Unit, or Test Units for rent or for purchase. Equipped with a highquality AC dynamometer and test automation system, Proventia Test Unit produces reliable testing data to support your core business without expensive investments. Test Units & Services from testing experts As an emission control company, research and testing are a central part of our business. Our in-house testing knowhow and experience give us a significant advantage in designing and constructing a practical transportable testing facility. No energy loss, energy produced can be fed into the power grid. The key advantage of Proventia Test Unit is that the energy produced while running the test engine can be fed into the power grid at 90% efficiency, meaning that rather than using electricity, you are producing it.
