2 PVT SIMULATION FOR GAS INJECTION ENHANCED OIL RECOVERY A comprehensive practical and theoretical overview of PVT for EOR studies, this course will cover every stage of EoS model development from sampling through export to external simulators with an emphasis on application of gas injection for EOR. The theory of miscible gas injection will be examined for multi-component fluid systems and participants will learn how to adjust model parameters to match EOR PVT data. 3 PVT SIMULATION FOR RESERVOIR ENGINEERS Learn to prepare a robust EoS model for a variety of reservoir engineering tasks using the recommended workflow beginning with interpreting and quality checking sampling data, fluid characterization, and generating a final EoS model for export to external reservoir simulators. Participants will gain insight into making best use of standard PVT data as well as for EOR experiments, using an EoS model in fluid communication studies, and modeling compositional variation with depth. 4 PVT SIMULATION FOR FLOW ASSURANCE This course gives a comprehensive overview of PVT for systems where solids may form. The course will cover fluid handling for two phase systems (gas/liquid) and then expand to multiphase systems where water and solids are present in addition to gas and oil. Participants will also learn how to model transport of wax forming fluids in multiphase oil and gas pipelines. WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE? Engineers working with petroleum fluids for process and pipeline modeling where the aqueous phase and solids (hydrate, wax, asphaltene) formation are studied.
