An EOS model for miscible gas injection EOR was developed for a Kuwaiti reservoir fluid and three different injection gases (CO2, Lean Gas, and Rich Gas). The reservoir fluid composition and PVT data were QC ed and an eight component model developed matching routine PVT and EOR data (incl. Swelling Test, Equilibrium Contact, Multiple Contact, and Slim Tube MMPs). The EOS model was exported to Eclipse EOS Model Development Compositional reservoir simulator. DESIGN OF METHANOL HYDRATE INHIBITOR INJECTION SCHEME FOR A NORTH SEA PIPELINE The hydrate potential for a pipeline system was evaluated, and the required amount of methanol to prevent hydrate formation was determined for various scenarios, including normal production, shutdown, and start up. The simulation emulated an increase in water cut% and a decrease in flow rate over a 10 year period.
