The design of the main components in container design with push-in cabling allows ideal transport options and reduced set-up times for the modular system. The special focus here is on the high ratio of added recycling material of up to 90+X %. 11 PRODUCT RANGE 21 // MOBILE GRANULATOR GRANULATOR Recycling legislation and our common sense demand that as much as possible of the precious resource reclaimed asphalt is reused. This is the dry grading curve, i.e. the material mm may still contain conglomerates. The highest theoretical additive volume of reclaimed asphalt mainly depends on its grading curve, or, in other words, on its ingredients with regard to volume, size and composition. This gentle grinding technology is the perfect precondition for nearly 100% re-use of the RAP material. Another significant benefit of this grinding technology is the substantially reduced generation of fine particles the crucial advantage which prevents blockage of the transport paths and the parallel drum as much as possible. 13 PRODUCT RANGE 25 MASTIC ASPHALT TECHNOLOGY For this application, BENNINGHOVEN offers technologies from manufacturing and storage to transport. In addition to the production of rolled asphalt, the BENNINGHOVEN asphalt mixing plants can also produce mastic asphalt. One exceptional example is the GKL Silent. For example, the new development from BENNINGHOVEN allows work to be carried out also outside of normal working hours, particularly during the night or in sensitive areas such as pedestrian zones, residential areas and hospitals. The direct electric drive produces no disturbing noise emissions.

They can also be retrofitted into existing plants at any time. The Benninghoven range includes agitators with a capacity of up to 70 t. Special wear-resistant and heat-resistant materials maximise the service life of the units and minimise maintenance costs. Careful heating is provided optionally by oil, gas or combination burner. The volume-controlled agitator drive with variable speeds minimises wear, either with a direct hydraulic or an electric drive. Optimum mixing and homogenisation of the mastic asphalt are ensured by a high-performance drive and the unique arrangement of mixing arms. Continuous temperature monitoring also ensures that the quality of the asphaltic mixture is consistently good. Flue gas sensors are installed to protect the periphery of the plant. Heating-up time is short and achieved with low heat loss thanks to high-quality insulation and the small number of thermal bridges. The standard lighting and integrated trailer coupling are also an advantage, allowing the dumper to be used as a tractor. The design includes a hydrostatic drive and a hydraulic brake system. A four-wheel drive is also available for rough terrain. The mixer can be tipped hydraulically. A scissor lift can also be integrated into the system. Firing is semi-automatic with gas. The mixer lifting mechanism can be operated with one hand while driving. BENNINGHOVEN dumpers are also fitted with indicators for operating hours, tank temperature and engine temperature as a standard. The newly developed DUOMATIC heating system heats up the material indirectly. The first step, which involves heating up the thermal oil heating medium, is carried out based on heating oil. The second step involves maintaining the temperature level electrically. The advantages of this innovative heating system are obvious the specific characteristics of the various bituminous compounds remain unchanged and are not changed or destroyed through overheating or flame contact. The system saves resources and is environmentally friendly. Application of the joint-sealing material mostly involves simply maintaining it at a certain temperature which, at BENNINGHOVEN, is achieved purely using electricity. This requires less fuel oil and prevents the formation of additional exhaust gases. JOINT-SEALING MIXER FUG Joint-sealing mixers are required for sealing gaps between two asphalt layers or between asphalt layers and built-in fixtures. Precision is really important in these cases as joints that have been processed incorrectly are usually responsible for initiating damage to roads. // IMPRESSIVE DOWN TO THE VERY LAST DETAIL The agitator features a direct electric drive allowing the FUG to also be used in underground car parks without generating any annoying exhaust gases or noise. The filter, which is freely accessible from the outside, can be cleaned at any time without emptying the mixer. The electrically heated sealing hose can be emptied without a compressor via a bitumen pump.
