7 VIBRATION ANALYSIS VIBRATION ANALYSIS IS A PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE TOOL THAT PROVIDES EARLY DETECTION OF POTENTIAL PROBLEMS IN ROTATING MACHINERY. IT ALSO IDENTIFIES COMPONENT FAULTS LIKE DEFECTIVE BEARINGS AND MISALIGNMENT ALLOWING YOU TO TAKE ACTION BEFORE A FAILURE IN SERVICE BRINGS YOUR PLANT TO A HALT. THERMAL IMAGING SURVEYS THERMAL IMAGING IS AN IMPORTANT TOOL FOR PREVENTATIVE ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE. ELECTRICAL FAULTS ARE POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARDS AND CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INCIDENTS. SCADA SUPPORT YOU WANT TO ENSURE THAT YOUR PLANT IS ALWAYS PERFORMING OPTIMALLY. 9 WE VE COME A LONG WAY WE VE COME A LONG WAY SINCE 1992, B9 HAS EVOLVED FROM A REGIONAL OPERATIONAL AND MAINTENANCE WIND FARM SUPPLIER TO BECOME THE UK AND IRELAND S LARGEST WIND FARM O&M INDEPENDENT SERVICE PROVIDER. The company was founded by four people, each with their own unique vision for tackling climate change. Together, they formed the B9 Energy group of companies responsible for developing and building 10 onshore wind farm projects and now the UK and Ireland s largest independent service provider with over 500MW on 35 wind farms currently under contract. The company has also developed Northern Ireland s first utility scale anaerobic digestion power station. B9 Energy is currently developing a 600MW offshore wind farm in Northern Ireland waters along with partners RES and DONG Energy. We are doing extensive work on energy storage and hope to revolutionise the operation and maintenance of anaerobic digestion, wind, tidal and wave farms. 10 B9 RESOURCES: COST EFFECTIVE AND FLEXIBLE. B9 RESOURCES WAS INITIATED AT THE START OF 2012, AS A SOLUTION TO RESOURCING PROBLEM THAT COULD NOT BE SOLVED COST EFFECTIVELY THROUGH AN INCREASE IN FULL TIME PERMANENT TECHNICIANS. In the first quarter of 2012 we sourced technicians with the right transferable skills and background that would adopt the same focused culture and high level of service that our permanent technicians deliver. In our first quarter we developed a database of mobile and flexible technicians that was also prepared to undertake the necessary training required. Having identified and screened a number of suitable technicians, we placed their first technician on 29th April Since then, it has supplied 38 different technicians supporting operations and maintenance and blade works. We have over 150 registered technicians available all over the UK and Ireland to provide operations, maintenance and blade works, whenever and wherever you need them.
