2 Fully Integrated Dosing Packages some examples Package A Aquatec s A dosing package is the ideal solution for dosing chemicals that are easy to prime. It includes a 200L or 500L tank with a top-mounted single or dual pump neatly bolted onto a tough composite base and comes complete with drain, anti-siphoning relief, back pressure and foot valves and strainer. Optional extras include spillage container, dual level sensor and electric agitator. Applications include water treatment systems (wastewater, water clarification, water filtration, cooling and boiler water), pool and spa, food and beverage and processing industries. Package B Aquatec s easy-to-use B dosing package eliminates the troublesome work of putting together a dosing system. Simply fill it with chemicals, plug it in, select the dosage and turn it on. The inbuilt tank can be used with any Aquatec pump rated up to 12L/h and comes complete with an anti-siphoning valve, relief valve, filter, tubes and injector. Applications include fertilisation in glass houses, nutrient dosing for dairy farms, water treatment in swimming pools and cooling towers, and temporary chemical dosing during repair work in water treatment plants. Package C Aquatec s C dosing package is configured to ensure a positive suction head is always available regardless of the chemical level in the tank and is ideal for dosing volatile chemicals including sodium hypo chlorite and hydrogen peroxide. It includes a 200L or 500L tank with single or dual pump configuration mounted below the tank, mounted on a tough composite base. This package comes complete with calibration column, in-line filter, anti-siphoning relief, back pressure and drain valves. Optional extras include spillage container, dual level sensor and electric agitator. Package D Aquatec s D dosing package offers a range of offline measuring, monitoring and controlling equipment based on the feedback-dosing principle. Each package comes complete with a digital analyser, probe and pump, fully installed on a vertical board. Parameters used to control water quality include chlorine concentration, ph, conductivity and ORP. Applications include water treatment with vary water quality (wastewater, water clarification, water filtration, cooling and boiler water). Monitoring Systems Town Water Supply Treatment Industrial Process Water Treatment Trade Waste Systems Dosing Systems Aquatec s packaged monitoring systems measure ph, conductivity, chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone and turbidity and are installed at some 20 towns in regional Victoria and at multiple food manufacturing and processing sites. Aquatec s town water supply treatment systems include large Ozone systems, Chlorine Dioxide (ClO 2 ), Ultra Violet (UV), Gas Chlorine and Sodium Hypochlorite systems and are installed in numerous townships. Aquatec s industrial process water treatment systems include Chlorine Dioxide(ClO 2 ), Chlorine, ph control and Ozone systems and are suitable for large industrial facilities, particularly in the food and beverage industries where bacteria-free process water is essential to maintain stringent health and quality standards. 4 Solenoid Metering Pumps Aquatec s high-tech solenoid metering pumps are suitable for basic water treatment and general chemical dosing applications. Based on a timer system, they are available with manual, pulse, pulse multiply/divide and analogue controls for capacities up to 32 L/h. They display the dosing capacity in litres per hour or litres dosed and accurate, reproducible metering is set by precise adjustment of the dosing frequency in 10% increments. Digital Metering Pumps Aquatec s range of digital metering pumps are suitable for all areas where solenoid metering pumps are used. They offer the option of a stepper motor control for flows up to 48L/h and a brushless DC motor control for flows up to 940L/h. A push-button control panel lets the user set the pump to deliver exactly the right dosage; simply decide how many millilitres of dosing additive are required, punch in the number, and the digital dosing pump does the rest. Motor Driven Metering Pumps Aquatec s motor-driven metering pumps are suitable for higher capacity, higher pressure viscous and specialised metering applications and offer a level of control previously only available with solenoid-driven pumps. They are available in piston, diaphragm, hydraulic diaphragm and valveless variants, are controlled with ma or pulse signal to 1030L/h, and are suitable for capacities up to 100,000 L/h and pressures up to 3,800 bar. Instrumentation Instruments are available for proportional control and monitoring of ph/free, total chlorine, ph/ph, ph/orp and ph/chlorine in the presence of isocyanuric acid. Aquatec offers the choice of single instruments plus conductivity and additional process control options, including flow pacing and in-line PID control with feed forward. 5 Powder Feed Aquatec s powder feed systems will handle most dry powders, including powdered activated carbon, poly electrolyte, soda ash, fluoride and lime. Feeders can be purchased separately or included in a complete package with wetting units, hoppers, tanks, metering pumps, dust extraction, controls, bag loader, bulky bag handling and transfer equipment. Gas Chlorination Aquatec s vacuum-operated gas chlorinators can be manually adjusted or controlled from a ma or residual signal up to 40kg/h. Options include automatic vacuum changeover, electronic alarms with indication, leak detectors and scales. Chlorine Dioxide Generators Aquatec s chlorine dioxide generators suit both large and small applications, producing no organic chlorine compounds with contaminants usually found in water (i.e. chlorophenols or THMs). This makes chlorine dioxide an ideal disinfectant for the treatment of drinking water and process water systems. UV Disinfection Systems Aquatec s UV disinfection plants suit flow rates between 1-400m3/h and a diverse range of water disinfection applications, including drinking water; industrial and production water for food & beverage, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics; fish & seafood farms; laboratories; warm water systems and cooling towers. They can also be used for chloramine destruction in swimming pools. Ozone Generation Plants Ozone has an immediate effect on almost all known bacteria, viruses and other micro-organisms and Aquatec s Ozone generators offer safe Ozone treatment for swimming pool water chemistry, town water supplies and bottled water plants. The natural disintegration of Ozone to oxygen also makes it suitable for applications in ecologically-sensitive areas.
