8 Nonpoint-Source Pollution and Erosion Comparison Tool Spatially distributed pollutant and sediment yield model i.e., water quality screening tool Estimates runoff, nonpoint-source pollution, and erosion Allows user to compare effects of different land use and land cover scenarios on total yields Uses land cover, soils, topography, and precipitation input data 8

19 Conclusions An ILSP workflow guides the logical application and integration of tools The toolkit can be configured for the particular issues of an area It is feasible for one person to learn and operate the toolkit but most appropriately for collaborating organizations to operate their relevant tools The toolkit can be used in ongoing plan implementation and adaptive management August 30,
