6 Southwest Recent Developments Arizona energy efficiency resource standard - 20% electric savings by Arizona Public Service (APS) rate case settlement included savings goals of 1.0% of sales in 2010, 1.25% in 2011, and 1.5% in 2012 Nevada Power, Rocky Mountain Power (UT), and Questar Gas (UT) all saved more than 1% of sales from DSM programs in 2009 Staff of the Utah PSC proposed decoupling for the electric utility; already adopted for the gas utility Overall electric DSM budget in region likely to grow 20% or more in 2010 Source: SWEEP data 29
