2 GS PROGRESS S QUALITY POLICY GS Progress is committed to exceeding our customers expectations and continuously improving our services and products by meeting the established objectives and ensuring effective communication with our customers while maintaining the highest level of integrity, sincerity and transparency. Many organizations encounter some problems when putting a quality management system in place. In a farm these problems are potentially greater due to: minimal available resources, potential costs involved in setting up and maintaining a quality management system, and difficulty in understanding and applying the requirements to crop production. GS PROGRESS S COMMITMENT We guarantee state of the art knowledge and hands-on teaching and examination methods that allow for an effective outcome, ensuring that the participants are able to immediately apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills adding value to their organizations. We are committed to integrate innovative methods of teaching and examinations and maintaining our training materials updated based on innovation and market needs. Our trainers and examiners are experts in the subject matter, with proven experience and teaching skills. This model integrates the criteria of ISO 22006:2009 for crop producers and users (farmers, vegetables, flowers, seeds and livestock), this Certificate of Competence is unique so far and my company, GS Progress, has taken initiatives to be the first use it so I hope you will join and be the first Comprehensive management auditors with this approach in your field. WHY TRAINING WITH EXAMINATION UNDER THE NEW COMPETENCY SCHEME? Under the new competency scheme, candidates are required to demonstrate the required knowledge and skills under a given set of examination criteria as per industry standard. The training is focused on equipping you with the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully pass the examinations for each competency module. Examination methods are designed to be fair, reliable and valid. After successful completion you may apply to Exemplar Global for Auditor Certification. WHY APPLY TO EXEMPLAR GLOBAL FOR QMS AUDITOR CERTIFICATION? Certification with Exemplar Global International (Exemplar Global) provides certified persons with an internationally recognized qualification. Auditors certified under this scheme by Exemplar Global can demonstrate that they have been independently evaluated as meeting the standards established by Exemplar Global using ISO19011:2011 Guidelines for quality and/or environmental management systems auditing as guidance. This provides confidence and assurance in audit outcomes for the auditee and industry. QMS LEAD AUDITOR TRAINING COURSE The competence and preparedness of a lead auditor is crucial to the performance of an audit team, and ultimately to the success of a management system. This hands-on training is designed to provide participants GSP-FL-QM-ISO22006.r4 Issued: Nov. 10, 2015 Page 5 of 11
3 with the knowledge, skills and expertise that are necessary to effectively conduct a management system audit and lead an audit team. Successful candidates will be issued a *Exemplar Global certified certificate of competence in three competencies: QM for Quality Management Systems, AU for Management Systems Auditing, and TL for Leading Management Systems Audit Teams. SPECIAL MODULE 4: ISO 22006:2009 Guidelines for the application of ISO 9001:2000 in crop production. ISO 22006:2009 gives you the guidelines to assist crop producers in the adoption of ISO 9001:2015 for crop production processes. The term "crop" includes seasonal crops (such as grains, pulses, oilseeds, spices, fruit and vegetables), row-planted crops that are cultivated, perennial crops that are managed over a period of time, and wild crops that are not formally planted or managed. Horticultural crops provide an even broader range of types from annual and perennial fruits, vegetables, and ornamental flowering plants to perennial shrubs and trees, and root crops. These diverse crops require a broad range of planting, cultivating, pest control, and harvesting methods and practices. Decisions regarding planting, growing, and harvesting activities can be similar, although specific steps can be quite different when considering the range of crops. In this module we give a detail applications of the: Steps toward a quality management system, Writing a Quality Manual Documenting the Quality Management System, Quality Management Principles, Example crop production processes and sub processes with tips Bibliography. ISO 22006:2009 gives guidelines on the use and application of ISO 9001:2015 to the establishment and management of a quality management system (QMS) by an organization involved in crop production. ISO 22006:2009 is not intended to change, add or reduce the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, nor is it intended for certification. Further down the supply chain, in manufacturing processes, the language of ISO 9001:2015, ISO is considered more appropriate. The need for an ISO 9001:2015-based system containing agricultural terminology became apparent due to difficulties in the interpretation of the language of ISO 9001:2015 for crop production applications QMS INTERNAL AUDITOR TRAINING COURSE Those candidates who only wish to act as internal auditors of the implemented Management System only need to attend the respective Modules 1, 2 and 4 (see below) of the flexible training program. A candidate who successfully obtains the necessary levels of competency in Module 1 and 2 will be awarded a *Exemplar Global certified Certificate of Attainment which is valid as an Internal Auditor qualification. It also provides for the qualification of Provisional Auditor with an international auditor registration body such as Exemplar Global. Candidates wishing to obtain higher auditor qualification than Internal Auditor / Provisional Auditor would also need to successfully complete module 3. This certificate provides the basis for becoming an auditor qualified to lead the audit teams for conducting external audits. Graduates seeking a certification grade beyond Provisional must apply directly to Exemplar Global, and demonstrate the additional skills, personal attributes and qualifications required for the grade they seek. Refer to Exemplar Global website for further details. GSP-FL-QM-ISO22006.r4 Issued: Nov. 10, 2015 Page 6 of 11

Managers of farm operations should be aware that the ultimate goal of implementing ISO 9001:2015 into their businesses should be a combination of improved performance, financial results and customer satisfaction. In order to achieve this result, farm managers should keep an eye on what is practical and work to implement their quality management system with these final results in mind. It is important to keep in mind that while there may be costs, time and efforts involved in the ISO 9001:2015 implementation effort, the ultimate goal is to achieve results that outweigh these initial costs. Understand and apply process-approached auditing Understand and apply value-added auditing practices Understand the application of the principles, procedures and techniques of auditing. Application of ISO systems in food/fiber supply chains It is anticipated that ISO 22006:2009 will be applied in crop production at the beginning of crop based supply chains, where producers and in some cases first buyers of crops are still considered as bulk commodities are involved. The need for an ISO 9001:2015 based system containing crop language evolved when it became apparent that the language of ISO 9001:2015 was difficult to interpret in crop production applications. ISO 22006:2009 is a guidance document similar to ISO (ISO covers the application of ISO 9001 in the food and drink industry) Pre-requisites GSP-FL-QM-ISO22006.r4 Issued: Nov. 10, 2015 Page 9 of 11
