Our History Raytheon Professional Services capabilities and expertise are built on training practices developed by our predecessor companies over the past seven decades. Beginning in the 1930s, these companies delivered flight simulators to clients in the government and military sectors. They later provided curriculum design and training administration services. In the 1990s, Raytheon Professional Services was formed through the thoughtful integration of training organizations that Raytheon had acquired over the years. We targeted the commercial sector, primarily the automotive industry in North America, Europe and Asia. Two of our programs awarded during this decade continue to be among the largest training programs ever outsourced. Today, we work in partnership with Raytheon s technical services business, which generates more than Euro 1.9 billion in services sales annually. Our client base has expanded beyond the automotive industry to include leading companies in the pharmaceutical, defense, financial services, heavy-duty equipment and other industries. We also manage the training operations for our parent company Raytheon. We continue to invest in new training technologies and practices as we establish ourselves in new regions globally.
