11 Human Resources 2014 Highlights 1. Created and implemented an Action Plan based on results from the Staff Survey 2. Completed revision of the 2014 Committee Survey, resulting in 90% participation rate, overall committee performance continues to be very strong in Revision and implementation of New Board Evaluation Tool 4. Continuing to improve the Volunteer Application Process, Volunteer Recognition Policy and Commitment to Volunteer Services

14 Investment 2014 Highlights 1. Finalized a revision to the Investment Policy Statement to permit more alternative investments in the portfolio 2. Completed a 4-5 transactions during the year in order to rebalance the portfolio holdings 3. Achieved a total return of 5.9% ( %) vs. Budget of 4.5%

15 Investment 2015 Priorities 1. Assess whether investment in the Canadian Olympic Committee s portfolio is fiscally suitable 2. Conclude on whether a method exists for Provincial Associations to invest in the Golf Canada portfolio 3. Annual review of Golf Canada s portfolio holdings and Investment Policy Statement

Researched and compiled a Best Practices paper on alternate forms of play and opportunities for future championships 3. Worked in conjunction with the Golf Association of Ontario to host the inaugural World Junior Girls Championship.

32 Membership 2014 Highlights 1. In 2014 the membership committee was actively engaged in the development of the new membership model, providing feedback to staff on benefits and development as well as monitoring engagement of the provincial associations. 2. The Membership Committee monitored the activities in the two pilots taking place: Prince Edward IslandGolf Fun program The information gathered from both of these has influenced our model development.

The conferences confirm changes to the Rules of Golf and Amateur Status every four years 2. Redrafted Golf Canada Hard Card 3. Metrics # taken Level 1 and 2; # of Level 3 and 4 certified officials; # of inquiries on Ask an Expert 4. Championships # of championships; # of officials provided 5. Processed 76 amateur reinstatements (48 one year PAR, 28 two year PAR);

48 Governors Council 2014 Highlights 1. Underwent serious scrutiny and planning as to its proper role within Golf Canada 2. Now aligned on role of how the Council is used a forum for committed volunteers who would like to be considered for committee chair positions and possibly on towards a seat on the board. 3. This has led to a committee that will enable, support and recognize the role of the volunteer at Golf Canada.
