3 D: Eligibility criteria Training framework: The training modules (Units of Competency) are included as part of a qualification (or qualifications) on the current NSW Skills List. The proposed training is customised/contextualised to meet the students needs. Justification for subsidised training: 1. Which industry will this training be targeting and why? Choose an item. 2. Who was involved in the consultation to identify the training need? How have the students been identified? 3. How will this training and work experience element enable the learner to transition to a higher qualification or employment? In the case of existing workers, how will this training benefit the employer/industry? 4. Does this group have special needs or requirements? If so, how will their needs be met? 5. All information provided in this form is true, complete, accurate and not misleading (including by way of omission). Included with this form is written documentation of the employer s participation. The employer representative and any other person referred to on this form may be contacted by the Department. The Provider does not currently have any suspension, sanction, direction and/or condition on its registration under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act The provider is not accessing any other funding source for this identified training need. The Provider authorises the Department to obtain relevant information about the RTO or its personnel from other Australian government agencies, as appropriate. The Provider acknowledges that the Department may use any information it obtains for the purposes of the Department s operations including disclosing such information to other Australian government agencies. The Provider understands that this application does not constitute a guarantee of Smart and Skilled subsidised training. The Department, in its absolute discretion, may reject this application. If the application is approved, the Provider is only entitled to subsidies if subsidised training is delivered in accordance with the Smart and Skilled Contract.
