We have therefore developed a range of toolkits available on CD to assist the ETD Practitioner with the smooth running of their operation. The following Khulisane Toolkits are available to purchase: Item 1: QMS Toolkit for the training provider The purpose of this toolkit is to provide the Training Provider with a detailed Quality Management System for the strategic development and management of the training institution for the provision of quality services related to training and development interventions. Item 2: Learning Material Developer Toolkit The purpose of this toolkit is to provide Learning Material Developers with best practices electronic templates for successfully developing learning material according to NQF requirements. Item 3: Skills Development Facilitator Toolkit The purpose of this toolkit is to provide SDF s with best practices electronic templates to successfully facilitate skills development processes according to the Skills Development Act and Skills Development Levies Act. This toolkit will enable the SDF to conduct training needs analysis throughout the development of Personal Development Plans (PDIs) for all the employees. This process will be conducted on an annual basis following the development of the business plan and will inform the drafting of the ETD budget. This will result in the annual Workplace Skills Plan (WSP). The assessment of the individual training needs will be conducted on an on-going basis as part of the performance reviews. Item 4: Moderator Toolkit The purpose of this toolkit is to provide Moderators with best practices electronic templates for successfully conducting internal moderations according to NQF requirements. Item 5: Assessor Toolkit The purpose of this toolkit is to provide Assessors with best practices electronic templates for successfully conducting assessments according to assessment regulations. Item 6: Facilitator Toolkit The purpose of this toolkit is to provide Facilitators with best practices electronic templates for successfully facilitating outcomes-based learning according to NQF requirements. Generic Management Principles Total (240 credits) KM Credits PM Credits WM Credits LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE It is assumed that the learners who attend this programme: Are at least at an educational level of grade 12 with Mathematics and Communication level 4 Have at least one year s relevant compliance work experience Are working in a compliance department and role Have a basic understanding of the legal environment in South Africa Have computer and general office skills (faxing, filling, ) METHODOLOGY Training Programme Strategy: The training strategy that will apply to this programme will be a combination of the following: Contact sessions at Khulisane Academy combined with self-study to address the knowledge and practical skills components of the curriculum A structured work experience programme at the site of an approved workplace to address the work experience component of the curriculum Assessment: Khulisane will conduct internal assessments by means of assessment activities and signed-off work experience log sheets. Upon successful completion of all six modules, Khulisane provides a statement of results to the candidate and the Compliance Institute Southern Africa (CI), as part of the candidate s application to complete the External Summative Assessment conducted by the CI. Certification: Upon successful completion of the External Summative Assessment, candidates will be recommended by the CI to the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) for certification. TARGET GROUP The profile of learners who can access this qualification is quite varied. It includes learners who are: School leavers who are drawn into compliance practice Higher Institution graduates, typically with accounting or legal qualifications Practitioners currently operating in the compliance field BENEFITS Once qualified, learners could be employed in a variety of compliance functions within organisations, or be able to set up their own independent practice to provide consulting or outsourced compliance services.
