1 Welcome to CACI! In preparation for your first day at CACI, there are onboarding activities assigned to you in Workday, our Human Resources system, that must be completed at least 48 hours before your start date. 2. Click the Onboarding button under the Welcome to CACI! section. This will take you to your onboarding dashboard. Some of the tasks assigned to you may look slightly different from the examples shown below, but the basic tasks and procedures for completing the tasks will be the same. For assistance, or call Logon to Workday using the URL, user name, and temporary password that were ed to your personal address. 1. Once you have logged into Workday, click on Let s get started! 3. On your dashboard, you will be able to view the welcome message from the CACI Chief HR Officer and see Helpful Contacts. The person listed in your Helpful Contacts section is your Day One Coordinator. To begin completing your onboarding tasks, locate the Getting Started section and select the number above the word Ready. This number reflects the number of open tasks currently assigned to you that must be completed prior to your start date. 1

2 Tip: You may also select the Inbox worklet from your Home page to go straight to all of the onboarding tasks assigned to you. Example of Pre-Hire Workday Inbox: The Actions tab will show you the current tasks assigned to you. You will see a full display of the tasks in the view panel located to the right of the inbox. As you complete the required fields for each task and hit Submit, the Inbox task will move to the Archive folder and the number of remaining tasks will be updated on the Actions tab, Workday Inbox and Onboarding Dashboard. All assigned tasks must be completed at least 48 hours before your start date. 2

3 The Onboarding is Complete task listed at the bottom of the Inbox is the last pre-hire task you must complete. Failure to complete this step will delay your ability to enroll in Benefits. Individual Inbox Tasks: 1. Enter Personal Information Task - Click on the Personal Information task and select the Edit icon to edit/enter information for each section. At a minimum, Gender, Date of Birth, Ethnicity and Citizenship must be entered. Once the information has been entered, click Submit. A success message is displayed. Select the next Action item in your Inbox. 3

4 2. Review Condition of Employment Documents - Read all of the documents attached to this task and select the I Agree checkbox where applicable. Once you have read and acknowledged the documents, click Submit. A success message is displayed. Select the next Action item in your Inbox. 4

5 3. Complete Federal Withholding Elections - Enter your Marital Status, enter any Allowances or Additional amount you might want withheld, and then check the I Agree checkbox. Once you have made your elections, select the Submit button. A success message will be displayed. Select the next Action item in your Inbox. 5

6 4. Complete Work Opportunity Tax Credits - Follow the instructions on the page. Once you ve uploaded the required file, select the Submit button. A success message is displayed. Select the next Action item in your Inbox. 6

7 5. Complete State Withholding Elections - Follow the instructions on the page. Once you ve uploaded the required file, select the Submit button. A success message is displayed. Select the next Action item in your Inbox. For states that do not have a State tax form, you can upload a copy of the Federal W4 form and notate no state form required at the top. 7

8 6. Manage Payment Elections - Follow the instructions on the page. Once you ve completed the required information, click the Next button. Note: If you prefer to have a live check sent to your home address, replace default Direct Deposit option and select Check in the Payment Type field. 8

9 7. You may add another bank account by selecting the Add Account button and updating the Distribution in the Pending Payment Elections section by selecting the Change Election button. Once everything is completed, click the Submit button. A success message is displayed. Select the next Action item in your Inbox. 9

10 8. Change Emergency Contacts - Select the Edit icon to edit/enter information for each section. The following are required fields and must be completed: Legal Name, Relationship, and Primary Phone. Once everything is complete, click the Submit button. A success message is displayed. Select the next Action item in your Inbox. 10

11 9. Change Veteran Status Identification - Select one option. Click the Submit button. A success message is displayed. Select the next Action item in your Inbox. 11

12 10. Complete Federal Form I9 - Follow the instructions on this page. Once you ve completed the steps in the instructions, click the Submit button. A success message is displayed. Select the next Action item in your Inbox. 12

13 11. Complete To Do: Onboarding is Complete - This is the last onboarding task you need to complete before your start date. Read the information on this page that details what to expect on your start date. Click the Submit button. You have completed your onboarding tasks! 13
