POSITION SUMMARY The Information Systems Manager is responsible for administering the Bank s local, wide, wireless, Internet, and Intranet networks, telephone and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems, and all related software programs. This position is responsible for user administration, support and training. The Information Systems Manager maintains system specifications and ensures the Bank's technology resource systems are operating in a secure and stable manner. This position also deploys information technology architecture strategies to accommodate current and future organizational needs. This position is also responsible for researching, developing, implementing, testing and reviewing the Bank s information security in order to protect information and prevent unauthorized access. The Information Systems Manager also develops, establishes and maintains standards, procedures and guidelines to promote the security and uninterrupted operation of computer-based application systems. The Information Systems Manager also identifies and addresses exposures to accidental or intentional destruction, disclosure, modification, or interruption of information that may cause serious financial and/or information loss to the Bank. This position is responsible for the protection of the Bank s assets and information which are processed by or stored in the banks computerized information systems. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) 1. Manage the Bank s information technology function in accordance with the established policies and guidelines. 2. Ensure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal banking regulations. 3. Maintain accurate and current information technology policies, procedures, and related documentation, including but not limited to software and hardware installation settings, specifications, network diagrams, floor plans, etc. 4. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of the Bank s file servers, routers, firewalls, laptops, network or standalone computers.

2 5. Administer, or co-administer, bank technology and systems and provide end-user support when needed. 6. Participate in the evaluation of vendor hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment products. Recommend hardware, software, and telecommunication equipment purchases consistent with the Bank s short-term and long-term objectives. 7. Maintain relationships with vendors and various outside professional information technology organizations in the maintenance and purchase of network equipment, software, and accessories. 8. Serve as the primary point of contact for outsourced information technology service providers. 9. Establish and maintain information security procedures in compliance with information security and risk management policies, standards and guidelines, including risk assessments for technology and systems. 10. Provide periodic reporting on information security issues to the IT Steering Committee and the Board of Directors. 11. Work with outside consultants and auditors for independent information technology audits. Recommend and initiate corrective actions. 12. Implement, test, and monitor the Bank s Business Continuity Plan. 13. Participate as a member of the Bank s incident response team in the event of a technology emergency or breach of confidential information. 14. Review third party vendor system reports and analyze for any corrective action requirements. Ensure corrective action is implemented timely by third party information technology service provider. 15. Assist in developing information technology strategic plans. 16. Oversee the Bank s vendor management program. 17. Participate in the development, implementation, and support of electronic or internet banking products and services. May be required to accompany branch personnel on customer service calls to assist in resolving customer inquiries. 18. Participate in special projects, including assisting in disaster recovery, as they relate to information security. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Evaluate the current adequacy of the Bank s information security strategy. 2. Serve as the Bank s Security Officer. 3. Serve as the Bank s Facilities Manager.

3 The following paragraphs outlines the responsibilities of the Security Officer and Facilities Manager roles: The Bank Security Officer is responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Bank's Security Program and Safety Program. This position acts as a liaison between Bank personnel and law enforcement authorities when responding to robberies or other crimes; administers security devices and settings at all Bank facilities; identifies, analyzes, and controls existing and potential safety hazards; and provides security and safety training, support and guidance to all Bank personnel. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the oversight and administration of all Bank properties, facilities, office service operations and maintenance. This position ensures facilities operate effectively and efficiently; plans, schedules, and oversees building maintenance. The Facilities Manager processes requests from management and staff to ensure requests are completed in a timely fashion; oversees special projects. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY None. ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY The incumbent in the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 50 pounds), driving, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching. The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, cellular telephone, copy and fax machines, adding machine (calculator), scanner and image systems, scanning equipment, encoder, money counter, credit card terminal, typewriter, computer terminal, laptop computer, personal computer and related printers, key fob, or other equipment as directed. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines. Bachelor s degree from a college or university, or equivalent education from a technical or trade school; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of a technical background in information systems management, products or services. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or technical industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related. Basic knowledge of Bank operations and lending products and services; related state and federal laws and regulations, and other Bank operational policies and procedures. Prior experience with Jack Henry Core Director, D+H Laser Pro Loan and Deposit Pro software preferred. Advanced experience, knowledge and training in progressively responsible information technology department operations, management and supervisory activities. Basic knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Mastered skills in information technology operations, voice and data communications, troubleshooting techniques, user and software support; including but not limited to, desktop applications and network administrative programs and resources.

5 Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze and interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees. Demonstrate strong analytical and project management skills for a variety of tasks or projects. Ability to deal with difficult technical problems involving multiple facets, variables and situations where only limited standardization exists.
