This document will run down every document that is needed in order to successfully appeal. Please ensure that you are providing as much detail in your TRU appeals as possible, in order to give the Vendor Operations team the most educated backstory for the infraction. If you have further questions regarding shipping expectations with TRU, please refer to the below link, which leads to our Vendor Extranet Training Documents area
3 3 ASN Carton Variance Generates when there is a variance between the carton quantities that were entered on the ASN vs. what was received at the DC. In order to appeal, you will need: Raw EDI 856 data that electronically represents what was shipped Bill of Lading that confirms the item #s and the quantity of cartons that were picked up by the carrier Proof of Delivery
4 4 ASN Pack Variance There is a variance between the pack value entered on the ASN and the pack that is identified at the time of DC receipt. In order to appeal, you will need: Picture of the inside of the actual carton that was sent to TRU (Birds eye view), if available Screenshot of the item setup within EDQ Raw ASN data showing the Pack/Inner Pack combination used
5 5 ASN Routing ID Variance There is a variance between the routing ID entered on the ASN and the routing ID provided by TRU. The routing ID is stated in the REF section of an ASN.
6 6 No ASN for DC Receipt TRU did not receive an ASN prior to goods being received in at a TRU DC/store Fully accepted Functional Acknowledgement 997 Raw ASN data showing a time stamp of when the ASN was transmitted
7 7 ASN Failed TRU did not receive an error-free ASN prior to goods being received in at a TRU DC/store Fully accepted Functional Acknowledgement 997 Raw ASN data showing a time stamp of when the ASN was transmitted. Note: If you retransmitted an ASN to correct an error notification that you received, ensure you include the most recent ASN transmission. (Including actions taken to respond to errors)
8 8 ASN Received Late ASN shows as being received after the goods have already arrived at a Toys R Us DC or store. Raw ASN data showing a time stamp of when the ASN was transmitted. 9 9 Carton Routing Variance Variance exists between the amount of cartons confirmed within FOM and amount of cartons represented on the ASN. 10 10 Fill Rate (Open Quantity) A variance between the carton quantities that were expected on a PO vs. the carton quantities of what has actually been received at our DCs/stores TRU signed BOL, showing date goods were shipped Proof of Delivery (Prepaid shipper) trail with TRU representing PO changes that would affect amount of goods received
11 11 Fill Rate (Over Shipment) A variance between the carton quantities that were expected on a PO vs. what has actually been received at our DCs/stores TRU signed BOL, showing date goods were shipped Proof of Delivery (Prepaid shipper) trail with TRU representing PO changes that would affect amount of goods received
12 12 Late Routing Request Routing was NOT submitted in FOM more than 3 full business days prior to the start of the ship window (excluding Saturday and Sunday) Screenshot of Freight Order Management showing the date that a purchase order was submitted.
13 13 Late Ship Window Carrier picks up freight outside of the assigned ship window of a Purchase Order. TRU signed BOL showing the date when product was picked up by the carrier. Communication with RRES@toysrus.com showing that the goods were available for pickup inside the ship window, but the carrier arranged a pickup date outside of the ship window, so a carrier caused delay.

16 16 No Appointment Show Carrier does not show up for requested appointment, or the reschedule requests occurs within 8 hours of drop-off. 17 17 Early Receipt Goods show as being received at a Toys R Us DC before the start of the ETA week. TRU stamped BOL showing the time a trailer entered the yard from a TRU planner asking for the freight to be delivered early.
18 18 Unverified Item The item in question does not show as received for verification at least 48 hours before item was received into a TRU DC/warehouse. Proof of Delivery showing that item was sent to verification center (must arrive at least 48 hours prior to reported receipt of goods within TRU warehouse) Proof of Delivery must indicate what item/manufacturer number is being verified on that shipment. trail with TRU showing that item should be added to exemption list of SKNs.
19 19 Item Variance TRU identified a variance between item dimensions entered within ASN and dimensions entered within EDQ. Raw ASN data corresponding to the first PO that the item is being shipped against. The verification that was sent by TRU, including the date of when an item completed verification and the verified results. Any s for extenuating circumstances
20 20 GS1 Data Error There was a variance within the ASN between the amount of GS1 label segments and the amount of cartons represented. Raw ASN data showing the amount of individualized GS1 carton IDs included, and the amount of cartons that are represented.
