18 Foundry Contract Scope Foundry to be engaged by TG07.1 Trade Subcontractor by March 2012 Foundry scope of work to include: Foundry engineering, feeding and solidification analysis Production of casting tooling; maintenance and storage of tooling through the duration of the related structural steel fabrication and erection; tooling to remain the property of TJPA Casting production Supplemental post-casting surface finishing on selected exterior surfaces of some nodes

19 Casting Scope Packages Castings broken into Five (5) scope packages Ground Floor Level nodes Bus Deck Level nodes Roof Level nodes Light Column AESS Critical Light Column non-aess Critical A single foundry may be selected to produce nodes from more than one scope package BUT nodes from one package cannot be subdivided between foundry organizations This requirement is set as an additional measure to ensure consistency and to consolidate responsibility

22 Cast ConneX has been engaged by TJPA to prepare complete specifications, casting drawings, and 3-dimensional models of the cast nodes A Request for Information (RFI) has been issued via SFSA to gauge foundry interest in this project It is highly recommended that you respond to this RFI if you are interested in participating in this project
