Growers must maintain field controls for Oriental fruit moth. Packing house personnel must pre-screen all fruit by cutting 300 fruit/grower lot and inspecting for quarantine pests. Records for the packing date must indicate that no Cydia molesta (Oriental fruit moth) larvae were detected in the lot during this procedure. Phyto inspection consists of inspection of 2% of the boxes in the shipment of which 50% of the fruit in each box must be examined. All suspect fruit and a minimum of 2 fruit from each of these boxes must be cut and internally examined for larvae. The name of the packing house must be indicated in the distinguishing marks. AD: Import permit number was presented. The fruit in the shipment complies with the work plan agreed to between ICA and APHIS for the export of peaches and nectarines and were found to be free of Cydia Molesta. **See IP for further additional declaration prior to shipment.
