5 GS 21F 030GA Founded in 1931 as the Marysville Tractor and Equipment Company, Holt of California has grown into the top equipment provider in the Sacramento region. We are a locally owned and family operated dealership for the full line of Caterpillar products for sixteen counties in northern California. We provide employment to over 675 people at fourteen locations spanning the Sacramento/San Joaquin Valleys and surrounding forests. Our rental division began nineteen years ago to supplement the sales of new machines and provide a supply chain of quality used equipment for sale. In those nineteen years, we have grown the rental side of the business to become one of the top providers of rental equipment in northern California. We currently have 12 rental locations with three of them in the Sacramento metropolitan area. We are the only regional rental equipment supplier with a heavy equipment paint department, machine shop, custom fabrication shop, hydraulic shop and the staff to repair every piece of equipment we offer. We take great pride in our team and our ability to service and maintain all of our equipment. We offer for rent the full line of Caterpillar products as well as allied vendors such as Genie, JLG, Multiquip, Wacker, Magnum Products and many others. Another big advantage to our valued customers, Holt of California has five divisions, specializing in Power Generation/Truck Engine, Agricultural Products, Material Handling, Rental and Earth Moving Division. Each division is a leader in their industries in their respective markets. Each with their own service, maintenance and parts support departments. Each division also has multiple specialized service trucks and personnel at their disposal. And as a company, each Holt of California division works together to ensure our customers have the best rental experience in the industry. As a full service CAT dealer our expertise is in our equipment knowledge. It is our job to know more about equipment and its application than any of our competitors. We don t rent lawn mowers and roto tillers; we specialize in construction equipment and pride ourselves in having the newest equipment with the most options available. We have one of the youngest rental fleets in northern California. All our technicians are factory trained and able to diagnose and repair almost anything in the field if necessary. Our sales staff is very knowledgeable and has been in the industry for many years. We take great pride in employing the best, most qualified employees in the industry. We strive to have all of our employees do their best to provide top notch customer service to all of our valued customers. We spend time implementing programs and continually train our employees to assure that our employees are at the top of their game and a valuable resource for our customers. Holt of California prides itself on having quality equipment that operates both properly and safely. We have a very extensive preventive maintenance program in place. We perform services every 500 hours or 90 days, whichever comes first. Typically, this is more often than most manufacturer s requirements. Within Holt of California, we centrally dispatch our own fleet of delivery trucks, this allows us to move equipment on and off jobsites and between stores with very little notice, maximizing our equipment availability. More often than not we are able to provide equipment within a few hours of receiving the order. It also allows us to offer more early delivery times to our customers as we are dispatching based on where we have available trucks, not waiting for a truck to be available where the equipment is sitting. We can also deliver the afternoon before for a next day start. This allows more flexibility in our trucking and also lets your crew rest easy knowing that their machine is already on site, ready to work in the morning. We also take safety extremely serious. Holt of California has an extensive training program in place that assures us that our employees are able to perform their jobs safely and efficiently. Our employees are qualified to familiarize your operators with the equipment upon delivery. Holt of California takes great pride in our ability to quickly, efficiently and safely accommodate the need of our customers. Holt of California is part of the nationwide network of CAT Dealers. Collectively, we provide rental services to the 48 contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and Puerto Rico. Should you need to rent equipment outside our area, we would be happy to facilitate a GSA rental through one of our knowledgeable and highly skilled CAT Rental Dealer partners.
