ARTISTS, CRAFTERS, FOOD VENDORS: $20.00: For one booth space for one week. $30.00: For one booth for one Festival. $10.00: for power hook up for each Saturday. (Limited to 110 volts) $100.00: 6 week prepaid bonus card. Pay for 5 regular weeks and get one free. BONUS: Any vendor with two punch cards will receive festivals for $20.00 each. HOME GARDENERS & FARMERS FREE space to sell your produce. 1

2 Notices Food Vendors 1. Pads must be placed under anything that may spill to the ground. 2. Each food item must be approved by Saturday Market management before selling. 3. Post, in your Booth, your current Food Handler s Permit and one of the following 1) Temporary Food Service Permit (Regulated by the Utah Department of Health). Needed if you are preparing food on site Obtainable at the Utah Department of Health 620 S. 400 E. Suite 400, St. George, UT or online at Application fees are $25 for 1 day use or $100 for a Tuacahn Seasonal Permit. 2) Cottage Kitchens License needed if you are preparing food at home to be sold on site Obtain Application and information through Randy Jensen ( ) with Utah Department of Agriculture and Food 3) Farmers and Home Gardeners whole and intact produce, no special requirements or permits needed. For cut or processed produce, Contact Randy Jensen ( ) for specific requirements concerning your produce. 4. Vendors selling water or Soda Pop must sell their water or Soda at the same price that Tuacahn Concessions and Tuacahn Gift Gallery sell their Water and Soda, which currently is $2.50 for 20 oz. All Vendors 1. You must check in at the Information Booth prior to set up to receive your assigned space. 2. Unload and then immediately park your vehicle to avoid congestion. DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF ANY GREENERY OR BEHIND YOUR CANOPY 3. You may not use a mega phone or music if it is heard at the booth next to you. 4. Vendors may not use sidewalk chalk, this is only done by Tuacahn Management. 5. Saturday Market has a unique space on the Tuacahn website, information may be located at: look for updates on this calendar as well. 6. We encourage all Vendors to help build their business and attendance at our Markets by utilizing personal web sites, blogs, Facebook, Twitter & other social networking for advertising. Tuacahn advertising includes: full page weekly ads in Where It s At in the Spectrum, radio, downtown street banners, The Tuacahn Web site, Playbills, flyers, & on stage announcements during our shows. 7. There is no public access to The Tuacahn Internet network. 2

3 Tuacahn 2015 Saturday Market Vendor Agreement/Contract Vendor understands and agrees to the following: 1. Tuacahn s focus for the Market is on Fine Arts, handcrafted items, home décor & seasonal farm fresh produce. Some resale items are allowed, however all merchandise must be pre-approved by Show Management. Upon submission of your Contract you will receive an acknowledgement phone call. Please let us know if this acknowledgement is not received. 2. For 10X10 spaces a white Canopy/Tent, is mandatory (any other colored Canopy may be covered inexpensively with white fabric secured to the Canopy. Tables must be covered to ground with cloth covers only. Be prepared with weights for periodic windy conditions. Plan to have weights be at least 30 to 50 Lbs. on each leg. 3. For a 5X10 Sidewalk space no canopy is required but the price is the same as the canopy spaces. Tables must be covered to the ground with cloth covers (no plastic tablecloths). All items must be secure for periodic windy conditions. 4. Vendors are not permitted to sell any type of chances or conduct any type of lottery for his/her merchandise. All artwork, images and personal attire must be family friendly. 5. No smoking is allowed outside of designated areas. This smoking designated area is the outer perimeter of the parking lot away from the public and Vendors. Consumption or selling of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited on Tuacahn property. Selling of water or soda must be approved by show management. 6. Vendors assume responsibility for all assistants, associates or helpers participating with the Vendors. At the discretion of Tuacahn Market Management, any behavior or conduct deemed unacceptable shall be grounds for removal of said Vendor from the Market. 7. Prepayment at Gift Gallery and check in at the Information Booth is mandatory prior to set up. 8. Set up will begin no sooner than 8:00 am and must be finished by 10:00 am. It is mandatory that you keep your booth open for business until closing of the show at 1:00 pm. Dismantling your booth early or leaving early will jeopardize future invitations to participate in our market. Total cleanup must be completed in two hours after closing at 1:00 pm. 9. Vendors will be charged cleaning or repair costs (grease on pavement, trash, destruction of site) incurred. 10. In case of inclement weather during the market, management may wait 20 minutes to consider possible changes in weather conditions before officially calling the Show. To leave before the Show is officially called will result in lost fees & may jeopardize future participation in our Market. If we do close the Market due to weather prior to 12:00 noon we will credit your Booth Fee to another week, no booth fees will be refunded after 12:00 noon. At beginning of a bad weather day we may move the Market to the upper covered Plaza area. Vendors moved to the plaza due to the weather are FREE of charge. Vendors on the plaza become a minimum booth set-up: No Canopies and a limit of 1 banquet size table. NOTE: Starting Saturday December 20, 2015 Saturday Market will continue on the plaza Free of charge until the regular opening of Saturday Market the first week in March. All rules in the contract apply to the plaza market during this period. Call to reserve your space each week. No canopies, space limited to one table and you must check-in at the Gift Gallery for assigned space. 11. I understand that the prepayment funds for the Saturday (s) of my choice are non-refundable, but within a 24-hour notice of a scheduled market, a booth fee may be credited to a future 2015 show. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Remaining 3

4 credits will NOT be carried over to Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Contract signatures are mandatory. By signing this contract, vendor (s) acknowledges and agrees to all of the provisions hereof. 13. THE DISCRETION OF THE TUACAHN SATURDAY MARKET REPRESENTATIVES WILL PREVAIL IN ALL CASES. 14. Vendors must be in compliance with the Utah State Tax Commission Special Events Division. Monthly, Tuacahn submits to the Utah State Tax Commission the names and contact information of all vendors attending the market. The state tax commission will then send vendors a temporary sales tax license which vendors are required to file and pay to the Utah State Tax Commission. It is the vendor s responsibility to know and collect the current sales and use tax rates for Ivins, UT.
