2 VERTICAL CONTINUOUS AND SEMI-CONTINUOUS CASTING PLANTS COMPANY PROFILE Ateco was established at the beginning of the 90s focusing its activity on the design and construction of Plants for the production of semi-finished non-ferrous metals. The rotary smelting furnaces for the refining of copper scrap, the vertical semicontinuous casting plants and the horizontal continuous casting plants, represent the core activity within this whole plant manufacturing field. Ateco Impianti srl - the Plant Division - is specialized in the production of complete lines as well as of parts and components of the casting systems, thanks to the deep knowledge and capability matured in the years of activity also in their conversion and modernization.

3 HORIZONTAL CONTINUOUS CASTING PLANTS Through the acquisition of the brand and expertise of the former company Calamari, CALAMARI Ateco Impianti is today in the position to design and to build all type of induction equipment. Ateco Impianti is a subsidiary part of Engitec Technologies, a worldwide known company operating since many years in the segment of secondary non-ferrous metallurgy through complete engineering and equipment supply services. In this position the capability of the Group includes the possibility of providing whole plants from the scrap processing up to the production of whole semi-finished goods.
