1 र ष ट र य प र द य ग क स स थ न न ल ड NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY NAGALAND (An Institute of National Importance under Ministry of HRD, Govt of India) Chumukedima, Dimapur Nagaland registrar@nitnagaland.ac.in Ph: Tender No. 0216/NIT-N/S&H and ECE/2017/06-03 Dated: NOTICE INVITING QUOTATION (NIQ) Sealed Quotations are invited from the reputed Manufacturers / Dealers / Registered Suppliers for Supply of Chemicals and glasswares for Laboratories whose detailed specifications are given in Annexure I and II, National Institute of Technology Nagaland, Chumukedima, Dimapur, Nagaland In this connection, you are requested to furnish the lowest quotation for supply of Chemicals and glasswares. Sealed quotations should reach to the office of The Registrar, NIT Nagaland, Chumukedima, Dimapur, Nagaland on or before 07 th July 2017, 2:00 p.m. and it will be opened on same day at 3:00 p.m. in the Administrative Building, NIT Nagaland. Quotation received after the due date will not be considered. The Terms and Conditions are detailed below: 1. The bidder shall be required to deposit the earnest money (EMD) for an amount equivalent to 2 percent of the quoted valued, which is refundable and a tender fee for an amount of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only), which is non-refundable by way of demand draft only. The demand draft shall be drawn in favour of Director, NIT Nagaland payable at Chumukedima, Dimapur. 2. The earnest money deposit of the successful bidder shall be refunded after the completion of contract / order. For unsuccessful bidder(s) it will be refunded

2 after award of the contract / order. Bid without demand drafts of EMD and Tender fee shall be liable for rejection. 3. The specifications and rates offered should be sent only in sealed covers. 4. The rates should be quoted in INR including all taxes and Freight charges at FOR destination at NIT Nagaland, Chumukedima, Dimapur on Door Delivery Basis. 5. The transportation charges if any shall be notified. 6. The PAN and TIN numbers of company should be notified. 7. The item should be delivered within 2 weeks of time from the date of issue of the purchase order. 8. The safe delivery shall be the sole responsibility of the supplier. 9. The Institute reserves the right to accept in part or in full any quotation(s) or reject any or more quotation(s) without assigning any reason or to cancel the tendering process and reject all quotation(s) at any time prior to award of contract, without incurring any liability, whatsoever to the affected bidder or bidder(s). Payment Terms The payment of 100 percent of the order value shall be released after receipt of the chemicals at the institute.
