Senior Workforce Analyst, Forecasting and Planning Services and Access, Service Delivery and Operations As part of the Forecasting and Planning team, the Senior Workforce Analyst provides technical leadership for the strategy, design and delivery of demand forecasting and strategic/tactical workforce planning across Services and Access and Operations groups. What you will do to contribute Provide workforce planning for Services and Access and Operations frontline people Develop and maintain forecasting, planning and scheduling tools Provide analysis and design of optimal shift patterns and rostering to match demand and ensure efficient utilisation of people Develop and manage the process for deployment of people across Services and Access and Operations groups Support and mentor other people within the team by proactively sharing knowledge and providing advice and peer review As a result we will see The availability of planning and scheduling tools across Services and Access and Operations groups Specialist knowledge and advice is shared with the team of Workforce Analysts Processes and tools are developed to support the deployment of frontline people across Services and Access and Operations groups Capability is developed within the team by promoting a continuous learning environment, through effective mentoring of team members Operations and Systems Support and analysis Provide forecasting and modelling of future workforce needs Provide information and analysis to establish baselines and measurements for benefits realisation Provide demand forecasting and planning to support cohort-based recruitment and training Work collaboratively with other Support functions to provide information and advice on systems performance Support the Customer Design and Uptake teams, in managing changes to business processes including identifying skill and training gap implications and Work with the Customer Design and Uptake teams to identify and analyse the potential impact of changes and improvement initiatives on existing business processes to identify the implications, benefits and risks for operational performance and service delivery Provision of relevant forecasts of workforce needs in a changing environment Cohort-based recruitment and training is informed by appropriate forecasts Operations groups are well positioned to understand baseline data to enable transparent reporting on the impact of change Operations management teams are informed about system performance and capability Page 2 of 5
