The last date to meet the requirements is 31 December 2010. Purpose This certificate recognises the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required by people who have responsibility for the day to day running and management of resources on civil construction projects under the technical control of a project manager. It shares some unit standards with the National Certificate Civil Construction Works (Foreperson) with optional strands in Kerb and Channel, Concreting, High Capacity Highways, and Roading [Ref: 0208]. People credited with this qualification have an understanding of conditions of contract and of the principles of safety on civil construction sites.
