Fundraising and Marketing Co-ordinator Women for Women International (WfWI) was founded in 1993 to help women survivors of war rebuild their lives, their families and communities. The UK office was established in 2006 and has grown a strong and effective supporter base. The Fundraising and Marketing Co-ordinator is responsible for helping develop and delivering our corporate partnerships and community ( grassroots ) fundraising strategy. As part of the team responsible for delivering 6-figure income annually, this role identifies and delivers opportunities for growth in our corporate fundraising, with both new and existing partners, as well as delivering a range of grassroots fundraising activities and plans to maximise income from individuals and community groups and ultimately recruit more sponsors to support our work. The post holder will work closely with the Campaign Manager to coordinate activities with corporate partners and engage grassroots audiences to get involved. Women for Women International have a wide range of excellent corporate partners with ongoing opportunities for new and exciting partnerships, so this opportunity will suit someone with strong relationship management skills and fundraising knowledge who wants to work with top corporate donors to deliver against ambitious fundraising targets. The ideal candidate will be someone from within the not-for-profit sector or from a corporate background, with a track record of success of working with stakeholders and managing relationships. The ideal candidate will be personable, professional, and skilled working with a variety of stakeholders, from corporate partners to networks and individuals. You will be an excellent multi-tasker and project manager, used to working to tight deadlines and within small budgets. You will have a track record of coordinating fundraising activities that deliver against objectives, particularly financial objectives. You will be an excellent communicator in a variety of channels and situations, including face to face, over the telephone/skype, and speaking in front of audiences. You will have excellent organisational skills, able to manage a varied portfolio of relationships and activities with a range of donors to keep them engaged and encourage repeat giving and involvement with the charity. Reports to: Line Management: Proposed Start Date: Location: Interviews: Working Pattern: Salary Level: Senior Fundraising & Marketing Manager None ASAP 32-36 Loman Street, London, SE1 0EH TBC Full time 27,000 per annum a Job Description Community Fundraising (Grassroots) [30%] Meet agreed revenue goals for grassroots portfolio within agreed expenditure budgets, including but not limited to WfWI small donor events, payroll giving, community groups, women s networks, and third party community fundraising events. Develop and implement plans, targets and KPIs for each grassroots income stream and monitor these throughout the year to ensure they are achieved. Report these regularly to the Senior Fundraising & Marketing Manager for resource allocation and contingency planning as necessary. Secure, galvanise and manage relationships with volunteers and interns (eg. volunteer speakers, student society presidents, etc) to ensure successful delivery of the grassroots programme and engage new audiences to support WfWI. Develop relevant materials to support grassroots fundraisers and donors, including toolkits, presentations, leaflets, and newsletters. Work closely with Digital Marketing Coordinator to maintain the grassroots presence on the website, including providing stories and articles for newsletters and social media to promote grassroots activities. Work closely with the US team to maximise on global materials and initiatives for use in the UK and Europe Liaise with women s networks and other organisations and initiatives who fit the demographic of the organisation s core supporter base to grow the number of supporters and sponsors Liaise with student societies and encourage their fundraising activities
Organise events aimed at acquiring new supporters and retaining/engaging existing supporters Support the development of new ideas/grassroots fundraising products Receive and respond to inbound calls, emails, faxes and other questions or requests relating to community and small donor fundraising Corporate fundraising [50%] Create and proactively manage portfolio of corporate partners and monitor appropriately in order to meet targets and objectives for employee fundraising and cause-related marketing. Work with partners to innovate and create activities and campaigns to maximise value for WfWI. Ensure all necessary contracts and administration of corporate partnerships are maintained, including administration of gifts, relationship agreements, etc. Provide timely and appropriate support to partners, including fielding questions, delivering assets requested for marketing, etc, in accordance with WfWI policies and our commitments to our partners. Marketing [10%] Compose and liaise with designers to produce marketing materials, working with volunteers and suppliers to produce a variety of materials to use across fundraising. Support Senior Fundraising & Marketing Manager in the development of individual giving materials. Work closely with Senior Fundraising & Marketing Manager and Sponsorship & Database Officer to deliver cohesive supporter journeys for individual givers. Financial and Administrative Management [10%] Work closely with the Sponsorship & Database Officer to provide accurate sponsorship reporting and forecasting Ensure all income from grassroots and corporate sources is coded accurately Track and record all grassroots and corporate expenditure Support the Finance team on a regular basis, including during the audit period
