The role Strategic Client Lead This is a new role for Draw. In the past, we ve had a team of hybrids, responsible for both the client service and project management tasks within a digital agency. This new role seeks to break out of that discipline and focus on the strategic, relationship management aspects. You ll need to have a strong focus on customer advocacy as well as a proven record for developing strategy, effective planning and robust documentation in order to work with our clients on delivering their projects. You ll work within the Client delivery team across all aspects of the business and have a key role in helping debrief the team delivering the project. Working hours are typically from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. However, there is often the expectation to start the day early or stay late in order to meet deadlines.

Problem solving Outstanding communication skills and an ability to flex style to build strong relationships internally and externally Attention to detail Effective writing skills, ability to write strategic documents Financial acumen Writing proposals and scope of works (SOWs) Assisting and running strategic workshops Reviewing and reporting on analytics Creating and presenting client presentations Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their requirements Working with delivery leads to devise a project plan that meets the client's brief and budget - project plan for marketing projects Working with the delivery leads to brief creative and technical teams thoroughly Becoming the main Client Contact/ Relationship owner Hosting / Running Client Meetings Growing client value Negotiating terms and rates Having tough conversations and being able to push back effectively Pragmatic Forecasting Define and present to plans and budgets to clients Develop client strategy Create an internal client development plan and identify future opportunities Be able to take a big picture view of the client goals and identify the best solutions to meet them Identify what s at the core of clients problems in order to identify the best solution to it, providing effective recommendations Challenge internal thinking on a project to make sure what we produce is the best solution to the client need Work closely with core project teams to make sure everyone understands the brief Proactively write articles for our website and social media to demonstrate our expertise Create strong briefs that generate the best work Mentor junior members of the team

Key Performance Indicators Everyone at Draw has a set of KPIs which are set individually based on their experience, strengths, growth areas and responsibilities. Yours will be set during your first meeting and reviewed annually, but a selection of examples are listed below: Ability to drive the direction of projects and the client. We work in a very project based environment so being able to drive these forward whilst being able to identify the next opportunity is crucial to the continuing growth of the agency. Understanding the client and their business thoroughly is a core element to this as well as being able to identify their problems and how best to solve them with digital. Working successfully with project teams. We are looking for people who can add value to clients and projects whilst working closely with the team's delivering it. Being able to find a balance between working autonomously and within the team will be a big contributing factor to how successful you are in this role. Appetite for learning - This is a key role that involves learning about us, our clients, how we work and how we can make things better for those we work with. We want and need people who are up for the challenge, are excited about expanding their own knowledge and skill set and driving the commercial success of the agency. Attention to detail - Digital is a fast-paced world where things are constantly evolving, but that doesn t distract us from the fact that it s the little things that are important. Spelling and grammar are just as important as the latest technology, so we need people who remember to dot their i s and cross their t s - both metaphorically and literally. Enthusiasm for digital - While we work with our clients on many different aspects of their business, digital is our heartland and represents the lion s share of what we do. We re a team of specialists who are always curious about how we can better use creativity and technology to help our clients achieve their goals.

Interview process We ll be conducting the interview process in three steps: 1. a phone/skype/google hangout chat with Sian the current client services director and another member of the client service team, to put a voice/face to name and do a bit of getting to know you. 2. a structured interview with Sian and Joe a lead within the client delivery team. Not all candidates will be invited to attend all of the above interviews but we will aim to give as much feedback as possible to unsuccessful candidates.
