Call PHC: Relevant topics for LA C researchers (2015) Effective health promotion, disease prevention, preparedness and screening PHC 4-2015: Health promotion and disease prevention: improved inter-sector cooperation for environment and health based interventions In line with the Union s strategy for international cooperation in research and innovation, research activities should be developed as a European contribution to existing international activities and under development.

Call PHC: Relevant topics for LAC researchers (2015) PHC 9-2015: Vaccine development for povertyrelated and neglected infectious diseases: HIV/AIDS In line with the Union s strategy for international cooperation in research and innovation, international cooperation is encouraged. The proposals should also address the barriers and possible facilitators regarding the uptake and implementation of a new vaccine in low, middle and high income countries in different regions of the world.

Call PHC: Relevant topics for LAC researchers (2015) Innovative treatments and technologies PHC 14-2015: New therapies for rare diseases In line with the Union s strategy for international cooperation in research and innovation, proposals should contribute to reaching the International Rare Diseases Research Consortium objective to deliver 200 new therapies for rare diseases by 2020.

Call for PHC: Relevant topics for LAC researchers (2015) Improving health information, data exploitation and providing an evidence base for health policies and regulation PHC 33-2015: New approaches to improve predictive human safety testing Safety testing is a worldwide concern and therefore international cooperation may be an important element in addressing the challenge Advancement of international cooperation in the field of predictive toxicology and human safety testing (expected impact)

Call for co-ordination activities: Relevant topics for LAC researchers(2015) HCO 6-2015: Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases: 2015 priority See Expected impact of HCO 5-2014: Contribute to the WHO Global Action Plan on NCDs (2013-2020) as proposals will demonstrate alignment with international and/or national commitments to halt the rise in prevalence of type 2 diabetes Contribute to the Millennium Development Goals

Societal Challenge 2: Context Ensuring the availability of and access to sufficient and safe food is a key priority for the EU It is necessary to reduce gas emissions and to look at how seas and oceans can deliver human necessities (energy, food, etc.) in a sustainable way Innovation is a key-driver of sustainable growth

Societal Challenge 2: Objectives Contribute to securing sufficient supplies of safe, healthy and high quality food and other bio-based products Make positive changes to our society, economy and environment by using resources more efficiently Multi-actor approach!

SFS 7-2014/2015: Genetic resources and agricultural diversity for food security, productivity and resilience In line with the Union s strategy for international cooperation in research and innovation, proposals are encouraged to include participants established in third countries.

Call Blue Growth : 4 Areas Sustainably exploiting the diversity of marine life New offshore challenges Ocean observation technologies/systems Horizontal aspects, socio-economic sciences, innovation, engagement with society and ocean governance across the blue growth area

Call BG: Relevant topics for LAC researchers (2015) Sustainably exploiting the diversity of marine life BG 1-2015: Improving the preservation and sustainable exploitation of Atlantic marine ecosystems In line with the objectives of the EU strategy for international cooperation in research and innovation, proposals should contribute to implementing the Transatlantic Research Alliance, launched by the Galway Statement on Atlantic Ocean Cooperation in May 2013 and should benefit from the inclusion of partners from the USA and Canada. Cooperation is also encouraged with other international partners.

Call BG: Relevant topics for LAC researchers (2015) New offshore challenges BG 7-2015: Response capacities to oil spills and marine pollutions In line with the objectives of the EU strategy for international cooperation in research and innovation, proposals should benefit from the inclusion of partners established in third countries [...].
