Matthew Project Manager My mission is to make sure the planned activities are timely executed, without exceeding the budget and without compromising quality and safety 38, married, over 8 years of Project management experience in construction company I manage both, small and large projects. I work on multiple projects at a time. During the week I m commuting multiple times to the project installation sites. For executing my job I need to be in continuous contact with people. A continuous status check and correct scheduling of the project is the key for making sure my projects are on time. Customer, Customer PM, Technicians, External suppliers, Back office admins I m accountable for creating the project plan and executing the project. I m responsible for the project safety plan I m accountable for completing the project on time and within budget. I m responsible for performing subcontractor qualification, evaluation and selection. I m accountable for scope change management and claims. Avoid any delay in the project that are compromising the financial result of the project. Make sure we meet the expectation of our Customer, avoiding delays or miscommunication Creates and maintains safety and security awareness amongst the technicians working on the project. I m continuously evaluating the progress status, collecting information from the technician, the vendors and the factories. It is challenging to make sure the project is aligned to the committed delivery date. The planning and the confirmation of some activities are managed by the back office. I cannot discuss with the Customer without having all the updated information about my project. When I m on the construction site I cannot take any decisions, without evaluating the impact of changes on the scheduling. I don t have time to go back to the office and update the system. When I m on the site in front to the Customer I need an updated picture of the project planning.
