Page 1 of 5 Set up, repair and maintain a Baader BA 212CK fish filleting machine Level 6 Credits 50 Purpose People credited with this unit standard are, for a Baader BA 212CK fish filleting machine, able to: adjust the infeed system and aligning station; adjust bone and back guides, and fin erectors; adjust chain and V-belt drives, spike chains, and sliding blocks; set knives; repair and maintain mechanical and electrical systems; set up and run the test programme for the step motors and tooling; and complete documentation. This unit standard is designed for people who are, or are intending to be, responsible for the operation of a seafood processing plant aboard a fishing vessel.
