matters pertaining to budget planning and management, utilization management, provider network, Medicaid longterm care services and supports policy, and the operation of Home and Community-based Services (HCBS) Waiver program(s) and state plan services. Oversees, directs, supervises, plans and coordinates the operations of the Provider Resource Management Unit, the Medicaid Waiver Unit and the invoicing, payment and Contract administration activities for DDA. Develop and recommend policies and procedures to efficiently and clearly delineate work processes and responsibilities in these units. Provide leadership in policy development and management of personal finances for people supported, contributions to cost of care, benefits planning and people eligible for DDA supports and services access to government benefits and programs throughout the District of Columbia. Ensure the delivery of high quality, person /, centered and culturally appropriate services through the development and management of a network of qualified service providers. Develop effective mechanisms to manage the Division service budget including the Medicaid HCBS waiver match, transition planning for funding from ICF/IDD to waiver funding, utilization management and perform budget forecasting and planning. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Applicant must have one (1) year of Specialized Experience at the next lower grade level. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge. skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to operations. Examples:Responsibility for independently planning, designing. and carrying out Medicaid long-term care services and supports policy, and the operation of Home and Community-based Services (HCBS) Waiver pragram(s). Desired Education: A Master's degree in business administration or other related fields from an accredited college or university Desired Experience: Five (5) years of experience in managing in a large government or private organization.
