SBS Youth Music Festival Saturday, April 12, 2014 11:00 AM 2:00 PM Featuring Master of Ceremonies Stephen B. Steward Performance By Top Youth Winners of SBS Music Competition Winners of the Competition Announced Information Booths Interactive Games This first annual music festival is designed to inspire local youth and celebrate live music. As education funding decreases, one of the first programs to be scrapped in schools across the nation is that of music. Studies show that youth involvement in music education supports the development of the student's whole mind, in addition, studies also show that at-risk students who have access to the arts in or out of school have better academic results and better workforce opportunities. SBS Music Competition will provide students scholarships for music education.
