APPENDIX B FF&E RESPONSIBILITY MATRIX The -Build Contractor () shall work with the Government and be responsible for the development of the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) Plan and Schedule for the Project, as described in Chapter 4 General Building Requirements. On the following pages is an, which identifies those rooms and areas in the Project where Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment will be designed, procured, or installed by the. s that are not listed in the matrix will have FF&E designed by the but not procured or installed under this contract. It is expected that the will design and install all casework and millwork that is fixed to the structure, including but not limited to kitchenettes, lavatory tops in public toilet rooms, credenzas in conference rooms, medical casework in the Wellness Center exam rooms, and other items as identified on the Data Sheets. In most cases, the will be responsible only for the design of movable furniture, fixtures and equipment to allow to open as a fully functioning operation. Included in this category are desks, chairs, tables, bedroom furniture, other loose furniture, and equipment. In some rooms, the will be responsible for the design, selection, purchase and installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment. In some cases, the will have the primary responsibility for the selection and installation of the FF&E. In others, or their consultants, will have the primary responsibility for some or all of these activities and the will have secondary responsibility.
