ADRIMOB MAIN GOAL To structure and develop an infra-adriatic system to allow and encourage the multimodal use of means of transport based on maritime transport alternative to car favour the development of sustainable transport system along and between the Adriatic coasts as well as their inlands, through the enhancement of maritime transport combined with other means such as bike, train and bus.

ADRIMOB SPECIFIC GOALS to strongly encourage and favour the use of sea transport for passengers both between and along the coasts; to strengthen and integrate the existing infrastructure networks and structure and promote new / complementing links between ports and inland areas; to capitalize the experiences of the partners gained during the past programming period; to create new job opportunities; to improve/strengthen the sea routes; to encourage the Public relevant Authorities in the Adriatic area to improve the quality level and the effectiveness of safety of navigation and protection of the marine environment in the whole Adriatic basin by implementing the relevant EC Directives aimed at achieving the development of sustainable maritime transport and traffic in the area.

ADRIMOB MAIN ACTIONS 1. Definition of a strategy for the implementation of the multimodal mobility in the Adriatic area 2. Definition of Cross-Border intervention plans (Joint action plan) 3. Pilot interventions of requalification of passengers terminals 4. Pilot interventions to improve ground link s services 5. Innovative technologies and specific feasibility studies 6. Marketing of multimodal circuits and communication activities

ADRIMOB STRATEGIC PLAN Definition of a strategy for the implementation of the multimodal mobility in the Adriatic area Missions of Strategic plan: to strongly encourage and favor the use of sea transport for passengers both between and along the coasts and to strengthen and integrate the existing infrastructure networks and structure and promote new/complementing links between ports and inland areas Vision of this Strategic plan is to aim at designing a strategy for the implementation of the sustainable multimodal mobility for passengers whose backbone is represented by the presence of the Adriatic Sea and the related maritime connections

Strategic goal 1: New shipping lines entering ADRIMOB STRATEGIC PLAN Objective 1: New departure port or arrival port connected with existing port Objective 2: New departure port and new arrival port Strategic goal 2: ICT development Objective 1: Adrimob website construction and development Objective 2: Real-time information on passenger transport system development Objective 3: Evaluation of possible forms of one-ticket system Strategic goal 3: Investments in transport infrastructure Objective 1: Hinterland transport infrastructure (road, rail and airport) investments Objective 2: Sea port infrastructure investments including direction signs, information systems for passengers, marinas, etc. Objective 3: Floating infrastructure investments Objective 4: improvement for Sea-Train-Plane infrastructure and network

ADRIMOB JOINT ACTION PLAN ADRIMOB Joint Action Plan (cross-border intervention plan), comprised possible multimodal circuits and proposals to complete/network them (i.e. activation of new maritime connections or implementation of existing services, beyond seasonality of the services, etc.), necessary and feasible light infrastructural/logistic interventions to allow a real multimodal mobility at cross-border level in order to maximize the efficiency of the transport chain; the necessary services to be set up and the networking with the existing ones to allow an easy purchase of the integrated services by the potential users, etc.

ADRIMOB JOINT ACTION PLAN Implemented methodology short description Each partner from south and central Adriatic area was in charge to make an assessment of priority actions in his area. The Template for the Joint Action plan was defined with the aim of unifying project partners action proposals. These actions were expected to be coherent with the Strategic plan for a multimodal mobility in the Adriatic area. The Template for the Joint Action plan was composed of following parts: I. Definition of joint actions II. Correlations between joint actions and ADRIMOB pilot projects III. Possibility of extending defined joint actions to other crossborder target areas IV. Additional remarks V. Conclusion
