17 MAY 2016 I KUALA LUMPUR ABOUT CORPORATE DIRECTORS ADVANCED PROGRAMME (CDAP) 2016 BOARD REWARD & RECOGNITION Why: Legislative and regulatory demands along with added scrutiny from shareholders and outside constituents have kept executive compensation at the forefront of critical boardroom issues. This one-day programme will explore how boards can most appropriately compensate and incentivise directors and management while meeting the regulators mandates and shareholders demands. LEAD FACULTY MR SHAI GANU Asia Talent Consulting Executive Rewards Leader - Mercer (Singapore) Pte Ltd He also leads the Executive Rewards and Sales Effectiveness practices for ASEAN focusing on Board and Executive Compensation, Reward Strategy, Performance Management, Incentive Design, Sales Effectiveness, and Organisational Transformation projects. Shai has extensive experience in the diagnosis, design and implementation of board and executive reward frameworks, long and short-term incentive plans (equity and cash based), sales compensation plans, organisational design, and annual report disclosures. He was the Head of Executive Reward at Westpac and prior to that he led the reward function at St.George Bank where he redesigned all the incentive plans, and developed their reward strategy and employee value proposition. Prior to that Shai was an Associate in Mercer s Sydney practice and managed large executive reward and incentive design projects for several ASX Top 50 clients. Shai has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Mumbai, and a Master of Business Administration from the Sydney Business School. ABOUT MALAYSIAN DIRECTORS ACADEMY (MINDA) The Malaysian Directors Academy (MINDA) was established in December 2006 following the launch of the Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) Transformation Programme Initiatives. Since 2012, we have opened our doors to all local and regional Corporate Directors. MINDA's objectives are to address Board performance by equipping Directors of Companies with world-class knowledge, skills and mindset required to perform to a consistently high standard.
