2 Frameworks for measuring outcomes & impacts With increasingly scarce resources and growing social problems funders want to know exactly how their money is being used and not-for-profits want to prove that their programs work. Proving your impact is a huge advantage in this current climate, with results and value for money being emphasised more and more - but what is the best way to go about it? With so many approaches out there, it can be hard to know where to start. This hands-on masterclass is designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to identify and measure your organisations outcomes, so you can understand and refine what you do. It will take you through developing a program logic to help you understand what to measure, introduce a range of approaches to measure and evaluate impact, including how you might value the impact you create using Social Return on Investment (SROI), and how to go about selecting appropriate tools to capture the data you need. Led by Duncan Peppercorn, Founder and Managing Partner at Social Ventures Australia (SVA) Consulting, and supported by Simon Faivel and Anna Crab this two day masterclass is an introduction to assist you in measuring and evaluating the impact you create. He ran various workshops for the locals, as well as initiating a successful beekeeping that involved brokering a partnership between his community and a large NGO. Anders holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing and Management, as well as a Masters in International Development (distinction). Anders will be facilitating Sydney event. Nick Elliot Senior Consultant Nick joined SVA after almost ten years gaining a wealth of entrepreneurial experience as owner and a director of LineBreak Performance Sportswear, one of the original brands of compression wear that created the category in Australia and internationally. Nick brings experience from both the commercial and the non-profit sectors. Prior to LineBreak, Nick worked for a number of years in strategy consulting for Bain in Sydney, in the non-profit sector for WWF in Switzerland, Russia and Indonesia and in corporate banking in London and Frankfurt.
