Inspection fees Paid by importers to KSO SCISI. Nevertheless, Cotecna may invoice the seller in the event of supplementary inspection visits (in vain or unsatisfactory results), inspections beyond normal hours and/or on non-working days. The costs incurred by the seller for presenting the goods for inspection, such as unpacking, handling, repackaging are for the account of the seller. 7. 10. Other relevant information (1) Inspection report is valid only for 30 days. (2) List of HS codes subject to IVP (see list attached below) (3) Exporter s Statement Letter must state that: (a) The waste to be exported shall not be contaminated with hazardous and/or toxic substances. (b) The Exporter must be held responsible to receive the exported waste when it is found or contaminated with hazardous and/or toxic waste. (4) Effective 1 st Jan 2013, the following applies for inspections of waste paper: (a) Inspection is to be conducted based on 10% of the total number of FCLs to be loaded PER SHIPMENT. Kindly take note if the total order will be shipped in multiple partials. (b) Exporter to complete and submit RFI form on per (partial) shipment basis. (c) Exporter to advise the total no. of FCLs for the (partial) shipment concerned (refer to (a)). (d) Based on the declaration on the RFI, inspector will inspect, witness stuffing and apply Cotecna seal for only 10% of the total no. of FCLs to be shipped for the (partial) shipment concerned. (e) Final Documents (refer to Section 5) to be submitted with full details for the (partial) shipment concerned. 11. Inspection zones Country of supply falling under Cotecna s responsibility: (1) ASIA ZONE, including Middle East. For new VOs dated on and after 1 st Oct 2013, Cotecna is responsible for inspection of all Non-B3 waste, excluding waste paper, for Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong. The coverage for other countries in Asia Zone, including Middle East remained unchanged. (2) UK ZONE, including Ireland for waste paper only (for VOs dated on and after 19 th Aug 2013) (3) USA for waste paper only (for VOs dated on and after 1 st Oct 2013) Page 5 / 7
