The objective of this European event is to offer a forum to IT managers, technical system professionals and application developers to learn from each other, provide and share their own experience reports, hear from IBM and its partners about new developments and solutions. This year we celebrate 45 years of virtualization technology within z Systems. You all know that hardware virtualization is one of our most important assets and differentiators. With the new workloads (analytics and cognitive) and deployment processes (DevOps), virtualization is even more important than ever, and so our motto this year is: IBM z Systems virtualization evolving with your needs We will offer first-hand information about technology evolution and how you can gain advantages with your IT. We have built an agenda with very attractive topics. It covers new announcements, several international customer stories, IT optimization topics for your enterprise and many other significant topics that reflect the potential of the platform to any z/vm, z/vse, Linux and KVM on IBM z Systems IT manager and IT professional. This year, the Technical University will be held in the free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, y, situated at the river Elbe with about 1.8 Million people the second largest city of y. The port of Hamburg is the second largest port in Europe. Well known is Hamburg for the attractive culture like theaters, musicals and historical buildings and events.
