2017/0/12 4/ 5.0 REVISION AND TRANSITION NOTES Revision notes describe: what was changed, and if applicable, why it was changed, and the plan to implement the change, including whether changes are retroactive. Note: The revision notes are a summary of the changes and may not necessarily be a complete list. A risk code is entered for each revision and if applicable, the revision notes will describe how risk was addressed for the revision. Risk Code A Risk Category This revision is a minor change and/or introduces no risk. B C Risk has been addressed for this revision by the reviewer and approver. Low risk or no new hazards identified. For this revision, a PHR or other risk management tool has been used to address risk and minimize hazards. This risk assessment has been documented and is available through Central Engineering. Rev 1 2 3 Revision Notes Document format and number changed due to Vale Engineering Document Program changes in 2011. Previous Standard number 3503-01.0.11 Rev 2. Specification updated. Approved for use in Thompson. Piping system approval requirements updated for Manitoba. Reference to SPEC-83003 corrected in Reference document section. No technical changes. 2017/0/12 5/ REV 4 Notes Added ph comment. Added some reference codes. Changed Pressure Rating to Design Conditions, added temperature range to design and operating conditions. Added ASME B3.10 references to the Pipe Section. The lb. was removed from Class designations per ASME definition. ANSI was removed from ANSI/ASME designations. Added ASME B1.11 and MSS SP-97 reference to Branch Connection section. Weldolet branch connection changed to extra strong from standard for consistency with other U/G specifications. Removed taper bore comment as it does not apply because all componentsare Sch 80. Added 14 and above note for fittings. Added SPEC-35048 and PROC-8300 reference. Removed content that is in the SPEC or PROC for clarity. Added inspection criteria per code. Clarified examination requirements. Change flanged class from 400 to 00 as Class 400 pressure allowable is 990 PSIG non shock however dewatering systems require a water hammer allowance. Rev 4 changes are applicable to any new installations and/or modifications to existing systems from this date forward
