We re looking for a dynamic, ambitious and talented Senior National Account Manager to make positive change for Pukka working on our Waitrose and Tesco accounts, enabling us to continue our meteoric growth journey. Based in our brand-new head office between Bristol and Bath, our permanent full-time Senior National Account Manager role comes with a competitive salary of between 50k to 70k, an OTE bonus of 10% (uncapped) plus company bonus. As Senior National Account Manager you ll align your activity with sales and marketing to develop account strategies and plans to grow Pukka sales, profit and market share through Tesco and Waitrose and our online customers. You ll develop partnership account plans that inspire and engage our grocery customers to create positive step change, by increasing our range, space, off shelf feature, consumer activation, sustainability agenda and goals across in all account formats. By accurately forecasting and managing plan volumes and customer investment, you ll understand drivers for change and make adjustments and trade offs to ensure plan delivery.
About you A smart, commercially savvy and sparky intellect, you ll be educated to degree level (ideally 2:1 and above) and preferably have work experience gained on a graduate scheme at a big FMCG. A strong track record which shows your ability to push your potential in national account management within a branded FMCG is needed and you ll have top 4 FMCG grocery and online experience too. With a strong learning agility, you ll be able to demonstrate impressive business achievements, a drive for results, and have delivered these in a collaborative manner. You ll be at the stage in your career where you love what you do, are delivering impressive results and want the next step. You ll have an interest in people management and are now looking to grow your skills in this area and be mentored to get there. You ll communicate succinctly, with empathy, energy and passion, across verbal and written communications. Impressive functional technical skills across selling, presenting, negotiating and account management are essential, and you ll couple this with a strong numerical and analytical ability. You ll have experience of successfully leading JBP discussions and negotiations to reach a favourable conclusion. Job Description Reporting Line: Head of UK Sales Main Objectives: To deliver the company vision and mission. To grow Pukka sales, profit & market share through your grocery multiple and online customers (Tesco and Waitrose) To develop cross functionally aligned, implementable account strategies and plans allied with the sales and marketing plans. To develop partnership account plans that will step change our range, space, off shelf feature and consumer activation in all account formats. To become a transition figure who will inspire customers and the whole Pukka team to change their behaviour to create positive change in the world and help deliver our sustainability goals. To develop the attitude, skills and behaviours so you realise your full potential and develop into the Head of U.K Sales role within 2 years. To develop your consciousness. Key Responsibilities Main responsibilities Exceeding agreed targets for sales, profitability, volume and customer spend for your accounts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Accurately forecasting and management of plan volumes & customer investment using spreadsheet and internal systems on the above timeframes. Understanding the drivers of change with weekly communication of these changes and making adjustments/trade offs to ensure plan delivery. Day to day communication and interaction with Head of U.K sales and cross functional teams to optimise execution of the plans in a changing environment. Co-creating cross functionally, implementable partnership account strategies and plans that are delivered within timeframes, required resources and are aligned to the marketing and sales plan. Inspiring and engaging customers to create positive change by increasing Pukka range, space, off shelf feature, consumer activation and sustainability agenda & goals.
