IBM BPM on Cloud for Federal is hosted from IBM SoftLayer Federal data centers, which are designed to meet FedRAMP and FISMA Moderate requirements. Planned availability date December 12, 2014 Description IBM BPM on Cloud for Federal is a fully managed, IBM BPM cloud service that helps your business users start projects quickly and deploy process application solutions on the cloud without the need to build and maintain an IT infrastructure. IBM BPM on Cloud for Federal provides the following benefits: Hosting in one of two IBM SoftLayer Federal data centers, that are designed to meet FedRAMP and FISMA Moderate requirements Adding data storage capacity for the BPM database and embedded document store Speeding time to value: IBM BPM on Cloud for Federal is ready to use almost immediately for pilots, development, testing, or production. Reducing IT dependency: IT infrastructure (for example, hardware or a location to run the hardware) or skills are required. IBM provides the IT infrastructure. Eliminating server set up and administration: IT administration is required to understand how to install, set up, make the software highly available, or to maintain it over time. IBM provides all of that service in the SaaS environment. Removing CAPEX inhibitors: Use expense budgets for the subscription instead of buying licenses. Employing subscription-based pricing: Flexible ownership models provide access to the environment for as long as you need, whether it is short-term or longterm.
