MINE INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION Access to highly skilled resources backed by technical expertise and extensive experience enables VEA to offer a full turnkey infrastructure development service to the mining sector. Starting with the construction of infrastructure, including roads and services such as storm water, sewer and water reticulation, the company s capability extends to bulk earthworks and building of materials handling infrastructure such as rail links and load out stations. Overburden stripping and land rehabilitation is also a service provided by the contractor. In addition to this, VEA undertakes maintenance and other remedial works, both above and below ground, and this includes work on all concrete structures to ensure integrity and safety.
