Of late development of Solar Power Projects has assumed importance. Presently the installed capacity of Grid connected Solar Power projects is about 1050 MW. There is a target of commissioning 20,000 MW Solar power projects under Jawaharlal Lal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) by 2022.
