Letter from European & UK Director I m delighted to introduce you to Animals Asia, a progressive, dynamic and global organisation making great advances in animal welfare predominantly in China and Vietnam, but with reach across Asia. If you are looking for a career move that will enable you to play a key role in creating significant, lasting change you will be excited about working here. In 1998, we set out with a primary goal of ending bear bile farming a horrific trade that is arguably the world s cruelest form of animal abuse. This year, the Vietnamese Government announced its partnership with Animals Asia to bring this to an end by 2022 and we are now working on the exit strategy. There has never been a more exciting time to join the team and be part of this historic journey. We are also at the forefront of ending the cat and dog meat trade and ending the use of animals in performances across Asia. Our fundraising team is equally progressive and exciting. Filled with talented, passionate and dedicated people we have the ambition to match our potential and have been growing fast over the last few years but this is still only the tip of the iceberg we could do so much more. We have an established network of trust and foundations who are already engaged in our work. We are seeking a skilled Trust Fundraiser who wants to work on a part time basis to use their skills and passion to make a tangible difference. Perhaps you have some other projects you are keen to invest your time in, or maybe you have want to find a role that enables you to balance family life with a flexible, rewarding career opportunity. You will love Trust fundraising as much as you love animals and your track record of great results will demonstrate that. As this role is home based, you will need to be one of life s natural go-getters, full of drive, initiative and hunger. Donor care and first class writing will be second nature to you this role will provide the opportunity to keep adding value to this sector alongside the other priorities in your life. If you are keen to join the Animals Asia family and be part of this inspirational journey, I look forward to hearing from you. Warmly, Jo Dunsford European and UK Director Page 3
