A. Refer to updated Specification section: V. USF Kosove Apartments PAINTING AND FINISHING SCHEDULE (EXTERIOR), #7. Exterior Brick Sealing

2b) What kind of sprayer? A. Low Pressure Sprayer 3) What is the ratio of the mixture of sealant for the coating of the brick and grout? A. 10) How are we to handle the fresh air intake units on the outside walls? A. Caution will be needed around any vents. Covering these units will not be mandatory but they will need to be cut around when doing the sealing. 11) Are we to caulk both the horizontal and vertical seams where the column meets the brick work?, only if previously caulked 12) How many exterior stairwells? A. Six (6) 13) Are we to caulk the sidewalk to wall interface? 14) Can we use non-yellowing urethane caulking?, as approved by USF Project Manager 15) Is the top cap on the perimeter of the roofline to be sealed? 15b) Are pictures available? A. N/A 16) Is the rule, anything looking skyward to be sealed? A. Follow updated specification section III. SCOPE OF WORK 17) Should we include pricing on the patching of concrete imperfections which may include digging out old mortar, cleaning & sealing rebar and completing a new patch? A. Follow updated specification section V. USF Kosove Apartments PAINTING AND FINISHING SCHEDULE (EXTERIOR), #2. Exterior Stucco Masonry and Concrete: Walls, Bands, Columns, Slab Edges 18) Do you want any factory finished items to be painted? 19) Is the metal frame by the north main entrance to be painted?, but do not include the green fascia that is factory painted. 20) Who will take care of landscaping issues regarding trees and plantings which may be in the way of the lift and workers? A. USF Grounds 20b) Will mulch be raked away from the building?

21) Will the landscape posts and chains be removed for equipment accessibility? 22) Where will lay down area be located? A. On the west side of the building 23) Will there be any parking / area for placement of equipment in the parking lot on the north side of the building? 24) What is the procedure for security fencing? A. Use a green fencing barrier, no chain link fence is needed 25) Do we remove downspouts and bottom shields? A. Only the shields at bottom 26) Will there be any changes to specs for sealant / caulking products used in wet areas near landscaping?, vendors should use the sealant described in the updated specifications in all areas where sealant is required. 27) Will an estimated number of feet be stated in order to give a price per square foot for repairs? 28) Will a scaffolding plan be needed for areas not accessible with a lift? 29) Are the brick walls in the stairwells included for repointing and sealing? 30) Will a map or flags be provided to show sprinkler heads and irrigation lines? A. Flags 31) Will the arbor metals supports and stone walls need to be painted? Cleaned and painted except the independent arbors on the South side where the Bougainvillea vines are 32) Do the wood arbors need to be painted? Does this include the wood arbors covered in bougainvillea?, the wood arbors are not to be painted 33) Will the dumpster enclosure in parking lot 5A on the southwest side of Kosove need to be pressure washed and painted?

34) Are there any precautions to the grounds around the building that must be accounted for when using a lift? A. Contractor to verify conditions around building to ensure proper support for either scaffolding or lift without damage to pavement, landscaping, or grounds. 35) What hours will the vendor have access to the building? A. Vendor will have access to Kosove Hall from 8am-8pm seven days a week, through project completion.
