Premier League Primary Stars Co-ordinator Utilising funding provided by the Premier League Charitable Fund, the role will be responsible for developing and implementing the Premier League (PL) Primary Stars programme for children aged between 5 and 11 in primary school settings. PL Primary Stars aims to use the inspiration of the PL and professional football clubs to create healthier and more positive futures for all children in ngland and Wales. The programme seeks to improve and enhance physical education (P) and other curriculum areas, and develop the skills and values that are crucial to success in later life. PL Primary Stars Objectives: nhance teacher s knowledge, skills and confidence to improve the provision of P and School Sport; Increase children s enjoyment, participation and skills in competitive and non-competitive sports and other physical activities; Increase children s understanding of the personal skills and values they need to achieve their goals; nhance children s understanding of, and interest and confidence in, nglish and Maths; Support young people to follow further participation pathways in sport. Key Objectives of the role: To deliver the minimum key performance indicators (KPIs) of the Premier League Primary Stars programme over a 3 year period. To cultivate an offer which focuses on developing the whole child improving their physical literacy, enhancing their learning, and teaching them relevant life skills and behaviours. To promote and support the sustainability of high quality P delivery in Primary schools. To develop, consolidate and enhance links between the Community Foundation, Primary Schools, SUFC Academy, SUFC, SUFC Girls Regional Talent Club, local School Sport Partnerships and School Games Organisers, Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA and grass root clubs in Sheffield. 4. the PL with regards to the delivery of PL Primary Stars programme as per PL requirements eliver the key outcomes of the PL Primary Stars programme Achieve the project outcomes as outlined by the PL. This includes ongoing monitoring and evaluation of all the project through robust management information stablish and extend relationships necessary for the successful execution of the outcomes and to enhance the Foundations brand nsure that the budget is carefully managed and that outcomes are maximised against the investment Undertake quality control evaluation to ensure that not only quantitative objectives are met but also qualitative aims are achieved, such that positive relationships are created and the Foundation brand is enhanced To assist in the development of staff and volunteers through CP to ensure appropriate skills, knowledge and experiences are in place for delivery and relevant KPIs are achieved Seek opportunities to drive other funding opportunities to support the programme over and above PL input Contribute to the national network for the Premier League through the sharing of best practice, attendance at national networking forums and representing the programme at local and national events, as appropriate Take an active role in any other duties required to deliver the outcomes and targets of Sheffield United Community Foundation 5. Knowledge of National Curriculum for P (preferably Primary school) 3. Previous community based experience 4. xperience of managing and implementing physical activity programmes for children aged between 5 and 11. 5. Proven high level communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively and influence a range of audiences and stakeholders. 6. Proven ability to develop relationships and work in partnership. 7. Proven track record of delivery against outcomes/targets against specific budget criteria. 8. Proven experience of financial management including financial control, information management, budget setting and implementation. 9. A "can do" attitude with evidence of leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate others to reach their full potential.
