Service and team About the role NHS Right Care is an established transformational programme of NHS England, contributing to the financial sustainability of the NHS as a key priority within the Five Year Forward View. The NHS RightCare team is a large national team which spans the country and comprises of professionals providing expertise on RightCare delivery and intelligence across the health sector in England. The team is expanding following its second wave of roll-out, with new senior leaders coming on-board to support and provide direct delivery support to CCGs. As a result, there is now a significant requirement to increase the levels of project management and programme support within the NHS RightCare programme to ensure the Programme remains on track to deliver its objectives in 17/18 onwards. The NHS RightCare programme and project teams are responsible for the programme planning, management and monitoring of programme delivery, providing timely reporting and assurance to the relevant governance groups within the programme. This post is part of the Regional RightCare Team. Within that team there are two sub-teams. The first is the Business Processing Team which this post sits within; this team is broadly focused on the design, review and processing of the programme deliverables. The second is the Programme Coordination and Delivery Support Team which sits alongside the Business Processing Team and is responsible for the day to day operational delivery of the programme. Key elements As a Regional RightCare System Programme and Governance Lead, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic business processing development team working with national and regional teams, CCGs, STPs, ICSs to create and share innovative practice to drive population healthcare improvement. They will work across the region supporting and enabling priority systems to develop solutions and share results with the rest of the region. They will work with Delivery Partners and RightCare support teams to facilitate and enable value based transformation.. The post holder will be responsible for: Supporting systems to develop transparent decision making frameworks to deliver population healthcare improvements. This will involve working with different programme and governance frameworks to enable change across and within organisations, STPs and ICSs. Working with systems to develop innovative and alternative approaches to planning and delivery of population healthcare improvement programmes across multiple organisations. Working across other NHS programmes such as GIRFT, CROC, Future Focused Finance to develop and share expertise across the region. Enable systems to ensure that system wide capacity and workforce changes are embedded in programmes of change. Developing tools, guides and other products that support learning and knowledge sharing across the region.

This post operates under a management matrix structure, made up of the line manager, a professional accountability line (eg from the national Business Processing team) and the Delivery Partner who acts as the day to day director and provides guidance on already well established relations with CCGs/STPs.
