Introduction Welcome to FastPath Online: Getting Started Guide FastPath provides a range of online, interactive Assessments and Training exercises in a variety of subjects. This Administrator s Getting Started Guide works through the key areas of FastPath, and gives detailed instructions on how to begin using the product. Getting Started Before you start creating candidates and administering Assessments and Training exercises, first take some time to look at the setup options, and personalising FastPath. Consider how you are going to use FastPath; you may like to think about the following points: Administrators Groups - How many Administrators will I need? - Who will the Administrators be and what access level options will be granted to them? - What email addresses will send and receive mail through FastPath? - When should I create Candidate and Exercises Groups? - How should I structure my Candidate and Exercise Groups? Settings and Design Layout - Do I want to customise Detailed Result Reports and Graph Options? - Should I create User Defined Fields? - Do I need to amend the email templates used within FastPath? Question Builder - Do I need to create any customised Assessments? *** Preparation in advance in some of these areas may save time and effort overall. In particular, ensure that your company logo, colours and general branding is set up and ready to use before you begin. 3
Logging In How do I receive my Username and Password? The Username and Password for the main Company and/or Location [Branch] Administrators is usually provided by the Support or Training team. You may have had an evaluation account before you switched to a full FastPath account, in which case you may be using the Username and Password issued to you for your evaluation or trial. To begin you may have one Username and Password, but using the Administrator Management Options you can create as many different Administrators as you wish. How to create Administrators is explained in the System Management Guide. Where do I log in? To log in to your account, begin by opening Internet Explorer and typing www.isvinternet.com into your address bar. This will take you to the main ISV Internet FastPath portal. Select the version of FastPath that you are currently using, and click to enter the site. Enter your Username and Password into the Administrator Login fields and click on Login. Note: The candidates also login via the ISV Internet FastPath portal, but into the Candidate Login fields. Their Username and Password will not give them access to any Administrator areas. Do I have to use the ISV Internet FastPath Portal to log in? The standard method for logging in is via the ISV Internet FastPath Portal. If you have a branded login screen which has been designed and provided for this function, then you do not necessarily need to use the standard method. Please speak to our support team to learn more. Using the Administrator Control Panel The home page is the first screen you see after logging in as an Administrator. We refer to this page as the Administrators Control Panel. Within the Administrators Control Panel you have a selection of Quick Links which are access entry points to the 4 main actions within FastPath. How do I use Quick Links and what are they for? Create a candidate use this option to create a fresh new candidate record and to assign Assessments or Training exercises quickly. Edit a candidate use this option to locate and amend any existing candidate records, such as changing the candidate s personal details or Assessment or Training exercises.
