Recycling Extravaganza The Recycling Extravaganza, a one-stop collection event for hard-to-recycle items, will be the kick-off event for Earth Month. This popular annual event moved to the beginning of April in 016 to avoid conflicts with the Festival. 560 vehicles unloaded in only 4 hours. After dropping off donations, participants can grab a bite to eat or drink, and pick up promotional materials for the Earth Day Festival.
