Status of Solar Heat for Industrial Applications The IEA estimates in it s ETP 2012 that in Europe in 2010 heat demand for industrial processes was 165 Mtoe The vast majority of this energy is produced by the combustion of fossil fuels, with a huge impact in terms of greenhouse gas emissions
