The concrete aprons are intended to be full length of the building inclusive of the shop and connector building on both the east and west sides of it. 12. There is a column or two by the east stairwell can I assume these will be field welded and fastened into the existing grade beam. The stair supporting columns on the east side of the facility can be field welded and fastened into the existing grade beam. 13. Please confirm if the grade beam/floor slab insulation needs to be placed in the areas that butt up to existing building. It seems like cost savings could be made.
